House Not House is a new record label operating out of Shimo-kitazawa, Tokyo. We aim to support deep tech and UK house music in Japan, while bringing Japanese artists to a UK audience. Our house is house music with edge; strange house, dark house, house with fuck off basslines, spaceship noises and sexy grooves for the shuffling massive. It's house, but not house, feel me?

Music has been a lifelong journey for Maja (DJ Moonfire), starting with classical piano and music theory training, followed by discovering electronic music and the rave scene, getting into goth/industrial/darkwave music and becoming a radio DJ, and after many years of dancing and finally making it to Burning Man, deciding to start producing electronic music. She found her love and co-creator Sebastian Lange in 2010 and together they produced and performed live electronic music with live electric violin for over a decade under the name Babajaga. Eventually she got interested in DJing and has been focusing on growing her skills in that art since early 2023. She enjoys playing a range of music that falls somewhere on the spectrum of pretty and gritty, including but not limited to melodic, deep progressive, organic, and tech house, as well as minimal and melodic techno.

Producer from stagnant lands since 2011. Inspired by Apollo Brown, Damu the fudgemunk and boom bap in general. Started with sampling and instrumental hip hop. Now creating experimental electronica. Sometimes Dungeon Synth. Often uses criminal, detective setting in the mood of the track.

For the past twenty years, Wes Weddell has worked multiple shifts in the engine room of Seattle’s roots music scene, keeping his hands in abundant projects as frontman, sideman, writer, instructor, and community-builder.

The non-profit Center for Mindful Self-Compassion is devoted solely to disseminating self-compassion.
