Meeting by chance in the fall of 2017, Karina Pankovska (Latvia) and Nicolaj Roos (Denmark) were still in the process of getting to know each other, when Twin Tonality quickly began to establish itself as a defined and ambitious project. Within days, the Copenhagen based duo started to produce their first songs.

Their sound is diverse, varying from traditional pop beats to gloomy, atmospheric and dark electro synth. In a broader sense, Twin Tonality pursues the visualization of the sound, which invites the listener to use several senses and visit unusual spaces by experiencing a combination of electronic sound, feathery vocals, immaterial lyrics and abstract visual effects.

Experimenting with sound inspires the band the most, and sets the future focus on the alternative areas where music exists, like tech industry, theater and cinema.

Currently, Twin Tonality is collecting all of the experiences met on the way, by participating in the scope of different local live performance events in Copenhagen and Scandinavia.
