A Subtle Conversation was the creative conjuring put forth by two like-minded individuals. Ryan Baldon a.k.a. Human and before that ECG, was a blooming lyricist from the Kalamazoo area looking for a new and fruitful venture. Coming off the heels of 'Food for Thought' and 'Eat What You Kill', Baldon decided to  link up with another aspiring producer from the area, one that went by the moniker of latinassassin. Together, they decided to build a new effort, one steeped in hip-hop traditions and laced with electronic roots.

Thanks bruv, means a lot. I actually started out on FL years ago. I would say the best way to learn is just to educate yourself on the basics. Read the forums, soak up knowledge. A great source is the production bible available on Dubstepforum.com.

Also, writing music requires patience and understanding. The best way to gain understanding about your synths and sound design is to just play around with them, trying different things and learning what each knob does. It won't sound very good at first but once you have a good grasp on what you are doing, you will be able to fine tune the sound and shape it how you like. I think that this can't be taught very easily though, it has to be learned and the only way to learn it is to do it, a lot.
