The Metalheadz back catalogue features almost every major figure in the history of drum and bass, and is one of the most innovative labels out there, consistently crossing boundaries with its releases since 1994. The labels output continues to showcase a maturing genre of music that displays influences from reggae, hip-hop, house and techno with highly-sophisticated and intricately-produced tracks, contrary to the image of the music that is typically presented by the mass media.

Releasing music from some of the biggest names out there whilst at the same time pushing and letting new talent break through are the reasons why Metalheadz continues to stay at the forefront of electronic music.

The Metalheadz label was also the driving force behind the seminal Sunday Session Club Nights, which achieved legendary status at London's Blue Note club. Today, Metalheadz club nights are often sell outs with the label also regularly hosting stages at some of the biggest festivals across the world.

Two Tribes (Dan & Benny) are making their mark on the House and Techno scene with their unique and varied style. Supported by Laurent Garnier, Riva Starr, Weiss, Roger Sanchez and many more they have turned many heads over the last 12 months including being named as 'one's to watch' by Mixmag. They continue to release high quality and club ready music to the masses with their album 'Machines' released in late spring 2020 gaining traction globally and showcasing their unique sound to a wide audience through their own record label Milk Box Music. As they concentrate on their minimal deep tech sound in 2020, this year will see the boys fly even higher as they continue to rise up the ranks. Two Tribes go to war!

Watching Cassy eagerly dive into her record collection is a joy. Away from the transcendent spaces she continues to play at most weekends, her vinyl-digging series Talking About My Records on Instagram gives ample opportunity to engage with her endearing excitability. Its concept being spurred by moving back home to Austria and reconnecting with a stacked vinyl stash, you can feel the buzz gained from rediscovering lost gems and rinsed B-sides. Keen to share this experience with whoever’s watching, what makes this series stand out is the sense that Cassy’s enthusiasm and faithfulness to the music that fuels club culture has been revived. We’re seeing the beginning of a new era for Cassy.

Our  point of view is oriented to future and very cherished musical trends although staying rooted to the history of underground music.
