Melbourne-born DJ Carmine Romano has been shaping the sound of house music since the mid-90s, when he first stepped into the booth at the legendary Club Saratoga. What began as a love affair with deep, soulful rhythms quickly grew into a lifelong journey—one that has taken him from local dancefloors to international stages.

Carmine’s musical path has seen him play alongside icons who shaped the genre itself: Frankie Knuckles, David Morales, Steve “Silk” Hurley, Louie Vega, Kenny “Dope” Gonzalez, Mark Farina, Derrick Carter, Sandy Rivera, and more. His residencies at Melbourne institutions—Monkey, Redheads, The Mansion, Subway, and The Market—helped define an era of the city’s nightlife.
