En Colombia, cientos de comunidades y habitantes que viven en zonas costeras y periféricas aún son víctimas del conflicto armado, el desplazamiento forzoso, y la precariedad generalizada. Es claro, el abandono estatal es un fenómeno vigente en pleno ocaso del actual gobierno. 

A raíz de la coyuntura, Mothership.exe presenta Hiperestesia V.A. En esta compilación, varios artistas del underground nacional y latinoamericano ensamblan sus canciones con el fin de señalar el abandono estatal: una problemática desdeñada en la que no hay garantías, ni resoluciones efectivas. 

Hiperestesia es un trastorno caracterizado por un aumento extremo en la sensibilidad. Este concepto hace referencia al malestar y profundo que sienten los colombianos hacia un estado descentralizado.

Desde septiembre de 2021, se ha establecido un asentamiento indígena en el Parque Nacional, un espacio emblemático de Bogotá. Según "Autoridades Indígenas de Bacatá", allí se concentran más de 1.000 personas. Dicho escenario surge como un acto de protesta por la violencia sistemática que viven los grupos étnicos (y la población) en departamentos abandonados históricamente. 

Hiperestesia V.A también nace como una muestra de unión desde la autogestión, que busca apoyar a las comunidades vulneradas por la problemática. Como resultado, la totalidad de las ventas serán donadas para apoyar las necesidades humanitarias del asentamiento indígena ubicado en el Parque Nacional.

Athens based duo Ice_Eyes formed in 2012. They started producing leftfield electronic music forms and experimenting with modern club territories, techniques, and atmospheres. Since 2022, Ice_Eyes has become a solo project by Anastasios Tatsis. Ice_Eyes hosts a monthly show on STEGI Radio Athens , while during the last years the Greek producer has recorded many shows on NTS, Threads Radio, Rinse France, Noods Radio, Ma3azef Radio (Tunis, Cairo), HKCR amongst others. Affiliations: During 2023 and 2024 the Athens based producer collaborated with artists like Locre and Sueuga, producing and releasing music on labels such as Rainy Miller’s imprint Fixed Abode, DJ Loser’s imprint Magdalena’s Apathy and more. Ice_Eyes productions have been remixed/reformed from emblematic artists like ZULI, Renick Bell, Gallen Tipton, ABADIR, ZIUR to mention a few, while their material is featured frequently in DJ sets/Radio shows by Lee Gamble, ZULI, HELM, Szare, Endgame, Graham Dunning, Bapari, Lawson Benn (Public Order), Meuko Meuko and more.

‘The album was written while researching and reading about the role that the US played in installing dictators in central and south America. The harsh and industrial sounds I used as a way to talk about what happens when the harsh reality of neo-liberalism takes over a country that could do very well without it.

I was reading and watching documentaries about Haiti and Cuba and trying to imagine what those countries would be without any western influence.
