It all began when Biomigrant, an outstanding US-born, Colombia based downtempo and world music producer, went on tour in Chile for the summer of 2020, winding up in Pucón as borders closed due to the pandemic craziness, which extended his stay from weeks to months. 
Through the fall he learned about the edible wonderland of the southern Chilean forests in autumn, and as winter came he moved to a small clearing in the woods, where he was Derrok’s neighbor. They made the most of the time working on music together, weathering the rains with hot cups of cocoa in the studio.
The EP brings together 4 songs that grew from the adventures of Biomigrant and Derrok over this period, recording ambient sounds while hiking to frozen lakes and watching the sunrise above snow tipped araucarias.

Todo comenzó cuando Biomigrant, destacado productor norteamericano residente en Colombia, viajó a Chile a una minigira en el verano del 2020 que culminó en Pucón justo en el comienzo de la pandemia, causando que su estadía por el país se dilatará de unas semanas a varios meses, aprendiendo de las bondades comestibles del sur de Chile en otoño y soportando las intensas lluvias durante el invierno.
En este último periodo fue vecino de Derrok, con quien decidieron que era la mejor situación para crear música en conjunto, mientras capeaban las lluvias tomando chocolate caliente dentro del estudio. 
El EP cuenta con cuatro canciones relacionadas a las aventuras de Biomigrant y Derrok en el sur de Chile durante ese periodo, grabando sonidos ambientales durante las caminatas invernales a lagunas congeladas y contemplando el amanecer junto a los cantos de las aves.

@resuenomusic is excited to share the first EP of Leo Rue! 
It was created in the beautiful lush forest of lake Atitlan, where he collaborated and created music from the heart and soul with his dear friends. It was a process of traversing the ups and downs of life. The inspiration for the EP was taken from the love that Leo Rue has for his life and for the people who make it meaningful.

"I want to thank Aleksander Zielinski for helping and supporting the process and being great, Mackenzie Barth for the magical space she provided for the music to come through, and all of the amazing people who were part of @onebigfamily.earth experience.

Been working on this live set for Cacao ceremony.

I only managed to prepare for the first 22 minutes. Starting with ambient and then a percussive section with some polyrhythms before going electronic.  Everything after that is an improvised mixing of some old tracks, hence it went quite trancy ;  ) For future ceremonies i want to have more deep, tribal and shamanic dance material ready.  

Please excuse my fuck up when mixing in the Mongolian chants towards the end and also a few other bad ones that hopefully not too many people will notice.  

Thank you Shivani for this beautiful event.  Was a real pleasure and honor to be part of this ecstatic event of dance, yoga, meditation,  Cacao, pure love, light and connection.  Looking forward to attending and participating in more events in the future.  Thank you for your amazing work.

Also thank you for the track, "Vi Kom", that you invited me to remix, very grateful and happy to be part of this beautiful project.  People absolutely loved this track, and so do i.  Thank you.
