Torture the Artist is a webzine, or a magazine made for the internet, geared towards those with a passion for contemporary electronic music, with sub-genres including House, Tech House, Deep House, Hip House, Minimal, UKG, Breaks, as well as a small amount of Electronica.Founded in 2014 by Holger Breuer, a German native and lover of the arts, Torture the Artist now consists of five team members from all around the world.

In addition to publishing interviews, music reviews, DJ charts and track premieres, the webzine hosts out a  podcast series called 'art:casts'. This medium gives DJs and producers the artistic freedom to highlight their different musical styles while not being restricted by factors such as setting, and connecting them to a wider audience. 

Being in its twelfth year Torture the Artist has gained a strong and active online support group, including music enthusiasts to label managers and artists themselves, creating a cohesive community with music as their bond.

Berlin-based Musician/DJ riding the next wave acid halo into the sun-shattered dusk.

On albums, Dame Bonnet joins on Bass as well as the Curses (live) tours and concerts.

The new album ‘Another Heaven’ just released with legendary Synth-wave label, Italians Do It Better, co-produced by Johnny Jewel. Curses has also done vocals for Artists such as Âme ('Shadow of Love'), on legendary Berlin-label Innervisions, keeping true to his punk and new wave approach on electronic music. Previous albums released on Dischi and fashion house, Saint Laurent. Curses has brought his unique sound to iconic venues such at DC-10 and festivals like Nuits Sonores and Grauzone, as well his residency at Berlin’s infamous Pornceptual party. Hosting a Monthly radio show, Together Alone, on Rinse FM France, Curses has also released various EP's and singles with labels such as, Oráculo, Bordello a Parigi, Running Back, and Wrong Era.
Curses is responsible for curating the acclaimed vinyl compilation series and party, Next Wave Acid Punx, showcasing a passion for New Beat, Early E.B.M, Post-punk and obscure Italo, which continues to gain a passionate cult following worldwide, including multiple support from BBC Radio 6.

Curses continues to bring a romantic and punk energy to the club, threading the ethereal nostalgia of the 80s and 90s into the future of now.

IAMBP is a rising DJ and producer in the Parisian underground scene.  Founder of the Panthers On Wax label and known for her infectious energy and ever-present smile, she brings an eclectic mix of sounds unearthed through tireless digging across genres. Navigating her own distinct musical world, her sets weave together eerie electro, house, and breaks tracks, blending in old-school gems and ravy new beat/ebm vibes to craft a truly hypnotic atmosphere. OMBRA, a place where unusual sounds, history and vanguard meet a timeless space.

For three days a year, it opens its doors to shelter under its roof the alternative way of life of a community that wants to rediscover itself through dance and art.

Ombra aims to encourage coexistence between creators and the public, generating synergies that foster debate and exchange between professionals from the recording industry, local, national and international artists and collectives, through entertainment, networking, learning and inspiration.

The musical proposal combines in the same line-up both legendary figures already established in the history of electronic music (normally outside the content of the usual festivals) together with other new and surprising projects so that the balance between the two enhances the musical experience of our audience.

French-Brazilian DJ Flo Massé has carved out a distinctive niche in the international electronic music scene with her impeccable vinyl selections and electrifying mixes. Often hailed as the "trance queen" from Brazil, Flo has graced the decks at prestigious parties and festivals across the world. 

Her notable performances include appearances at Dimensions Festival (Croatia), Gottwood (Wales), Breakfast Club (Amsterdam), Hoppetosse (Berlin), Paradigm Festival (Groningen), Delta Festival (Marseille), and Closer (Kyiv), among many others. Since her Boiler Room set in 2022, her tour schedule has seen a meteoric rise, and she embarked on her first Australia and Asia tour in September 2024.

As a drummer, Flo Massé channels the rhythmic intensity and relentless groove of her percussion background into her DJ sets. On stage, she weaves together progressive house and trance, acid, and electro, creating captivating and energetic performances that leave a lasting impression on every audience. She was recognized by Trommel as one of the 12 must-see artists on the rise for their New Year’s 2024 resolutions.

In 2025, Flo found continuity in the Alto Artists roster alongside rising stars such as Admo, Lamalice, Massai and Belabbas.
