Die STC-Crew, dass sind DJ Flatline und Timothy Carpenter. Das DJ-Team aus Mainz hat sich ganz der basslastigen Tanzmusik verschrieben und versteht es, diese gekonnt in Szene zu setzen. Als Residents der „Tapetenwechsel“-Parties im Kulturclub schon schön (Mainz) kreieren sie jeden Monat eine einzigartige Mischung aus Drum n Bass-, Breakbeat- und Dubstep-Tunes. So steht „Tapetenwechsel“ für frische Beats, nickende Köpfe und wippende Zöpfe. Während ihrer Sets werden die Beiden Teil der Crowd und es gelingt ihnen, diese durch abwechslungsreiche Mixe und die richtige Selection zu begeistern. 
Auch abseits ihrer gemeinsamen Gigs leben die Jungs ihre Kreativität aus: So designt Timothy Carpenter sowohl für die STC-Crew, als auch für andere Künstler, Flyer, CD-Cover und andere grafische Arbeiten. DJ Flatline ist DJ-Trainer bei der VibrA School of DJing und Mitglied in der live Drum n Bass Band "Urban Breakbeat Orchestra".

Mit den Wurzeln im Hip Hop (Band Brennstoff) begann ich 2005 mit dem Auflegen - zunächst nur Drum n Bass, später auch Breaks, Dubstep und andere Bass Music. 2006 gründeten mein Freund Timothy Carpenter und ich die STC-Crew, um gemeinsamen Projekten eine Plattform zu geben. 2007 fing ich an, in Clubs und im Radio aufzulegen. Von 2006 bis 2008 war ich in der VibrA School of DJing in Mainz. Seit 2008 lege ich regelmäßig in Clubs und Bars auf.

Trotz zahlreicher Gigs in Rheinland-Pfalz, Hessen, im Rhein-Main- und Neckargebiet sehe ich mich in erster Linie immer noch als „Fan“ der Musik, der den Spaß an der Sache mehr liebt als den Hype um die Menschen, die die Musik auflegen. Mein Stil zeichnet sich durch kreatives, sauberes und schnelles Mixing und die passende Selection zur richtigen Zeit aus. Ich spiele überwiegend Drum n Bass, dabei reicht die Spanne von liquiden Rollern über reggae-lastige DnB-Stücke bis hin zu treibenden technoiden Tracks - je nach Setzeit und Location. Darüber hinaus habe ich auch Gefallen an anderen Bass-Music-Genres wie Hip Hop, Breaks und Dubstep gefunden, in die ich immer wieder musikalische Ausflüge unternehme.

Von 2008 bis 2009 war ich Resident im Club "Tikal", Mainz. Von 2007 bis 2009 war ich Resident der Sendung „Tune Broken“ bei Tune Radio (www.radio-rheinwelle.de). Von 2008 bis 2011 war ich Resident in der "Fiszbah", Mainz (www.fiszbah.de). Von 2011 bis 2012 war ich DJ-Trainer an der VibrA School of DJing in Mainz, in der ich früher selbst Schüler war (http://vibra.dj/). Von Januar 2011 bis März 2020 veranstaltete ich im Kulturclub "schon schön" in Mainz die Partyreihe "Tapetenwechsel", bis 2017 mit Timothy Carpenter, danach bis 2019 gemeinsam mit Danbwoy aka DJ Venom. Von 2011 bis 2019 war ich Mitglied der Live Drum n Bass Band "Urban Breakbeat Orchestra" (http://urbanbreakbeatorchestra.de/). Seit 2022 bin ich Resident in der Kreativfabrik Wiesbaden, bei der Drum n Bass Party "Der Gebrochene Freitag". (https://www.instagram.com/dergebrochenefreitag/). Seit 2025 sind wir in Mainz auch im Club "beben" mit einer regelmäßigen Party am Start ("Der Gebrochene Samstag").

ENGLISH VERSION

Back in ‘02, under great influence from existing german hip-hop acts, I helped form the rap-crew ‘Brennstoff’. Three years after the formation, I started DJ’ing. One year later, my friend and DJ ‘Timothy Carpenter’ founded the STC-Crew to provide a base for all our mixes, collaborations and parties.

In ’07 I started playing in clubs and bars, I’d learnt a lot at the VibrA school of DJ’ing in Mainz city from the previous year – so I’ve always performed with the highest confidence. Since this time, I’ve frequently played in venues across Germany.

I would still consider myself more of a ‘fan’ of the music I play, rather than a hyped DJ. I get much more out of playing for the people, rather than my ego. My style stands out through creative, quick, concise and clean mixing, along with spinning the right tunes for the right moment. I’m mostly into Drum n Bass, but I also have a love for Breaks, Dubstep and other Bass Music.

I was resident DJ for 1 year at the club ‘Tikal’ in Mainz from ’08-’09 and myself and one other hosted a regular radio show called ‘Tune Broken’ at Tune Radio in Wiesbaden from ’07-’09. I’ve also been a resident at the ‘Fiszbah’, also in Mainz, for 4 years. From Jan ’11 until March 2020 I was resident at the club ‘schon schön’ in Mainz and hosted the ‘Tapetenwechsel’ parties. Since 2022 I m resident at the Kreativfabrik Wiesbaden, hosting with two friends the drum n bass party "Der Gebrochene Freitag".

Lastly, from Jan ’11- October ´12 I worked as a DJ Teacher at the VibrA school I had originally learnt at. Passing on my skills to other young DJ’s was another way I show my appreciation for the art form and for electronic music. Furthermore, I was a member of the live Drum n Bass band ‘Urban Breakbeat Orchestra’ from 2011 until 2019 (http://urbanbreakbeatorchestra.de/). Since 2022 i m hosting Drum n Bass parties on a regular base in the Kreativfabrik in Wiesbaden and since 2025 also in the club "beben" in Mainz - together with my crew @dergebrochenefreitag.
