I try really hard to keep the soundtrack incredibly diverse, so that each song means something, and they all have their own unique ideas, and sounds. This song is probably one of the more drastic examples of that. >~>;  It's fun to try all sorts of things! ...I' went for a classic JRPG type of sound with this one!

After a miscommunication of each other’s intentions, Toho and Otoh catch their breath and acknowledge each other's composition... If either of them were to find the Perfect Tune, it'd be better they worked together as a team. After all, music is something to be shared! Otoh explains that the wicked Order of the Tune is after the relic, too, and is intent on keeping its power all for themselves... that can't be good! The world below the clouds is far noisier than Toho thought… No matter! Otoh believes working together, they can reach the tune before it falls into the wrong hands. Their journey begins to the West, where the first rumors of the Tune’s whereabouts could be: the fabled Deepwood, an ancient forest of melodic spirits!

Mirage Saloon Act 2 - Sonic Mania [VRC7]

Commissioned track I made in 2018 that unfortunately never came to fruition. It's loosely based on the opening theme from Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs, with a nod to the early '90s Konami sound.

I decided I wanted to try and revise my old YM2203 Chrome Gadget cover. The only real hurdle to overcome with this must've been moving what was previously channel 3 over to channel 1, as I moved the lead to channel 3 for improved echoes.

Getting those duophonic chords that were previously on channel 3 over to channel 1 was a bit of a pain, as you have to use a bunch of different operator ratios to achieve the same duophonic effect, but thankfully it wasn't too tricky. Overall, I feel that this is a big improvement over the old version.
