Ubiktune is a #Chiptune and #DigitalFusion music label

RetroSpect is 17 years old and from the good ol' USA. He plays Bass, Piano, Sings, and has been learning music theory since third grade. He started writing chiptune melodies using a program called BeepBox in eigth grade, creating The Adventure, his first album. Since then, he moved on to AudioSauna, a free music program to create more complex songs, and now to Famitracker, a free program that can create more authentic chiptune sounds.  He also does visual art, and creates the self-published comic Heavy Hitters, which is posted on his Deviantart (M-T-Gaffney). Retrospect hopes to become at least mildly popular with his music, and simply wants to share his ideas with the rest of the world.

I don't only make playlists but I certainly don't make music... at least not lately anyway.

Most of the playlists here are for TTRPG purposes, i.e. to be sonic wallpaper during game sessions. Others are for keeping track of things I've come across and would like to readily come across again without fishing through the vast swaths of SoundCloud; sometimes I even like them.

Software engineer just starting out with musical theory. Done lots of programming for others but now it's time to try something original and actually play some instruments.
