Weird and wonderful is the name of the game - a musical journey out from the Tea-Snuggery - way off mainstream: impulsive, spontaneous, demanding - hopefully never boring!

:(:/:) aka ThreeEmoji, is Tom Bossert. Born in 1976, his musical journey quickly led him to electronics. From Kraut Rock and bands like Cluster, Can and Kraftwerk in his youth, to the early 90’s with the start of the techno movement and club culture in Germany. His sets have always pulled on this progression, never purely one thing or the other.
One of his major influences is DJ Marcelle from Amsterdam, and her way of breaking conventions. Music is a world phenomenon and so its output should reflect this. Just like a nervous Zen master on tenterhooks, waiting for the very last sound, impulsive but deeply circumspect, it should bring together everything in a Jackson Pollock-like manner. For Tom, spontaneity and improvisation are always more important than perfection.

The Tea-Snuggery wants to invite the listeners to discover new music and artists from all over the world – enjoy and listen with care! q:
