Composer-performer JOHNNY CHANG engages in extended explorations surrounding the relationships of sound/listening and the in-between areas of improvisation, composition and performance. Based in Berlin for more than 10 years, Chang relocated to his home country,  New Zealand in 2020.

Johnny is part of the Wandelweiser composers collective and in 2018, initiated a new framework for the presentation of creative research and performances, "Partitions & Resonances", aimed at encouraging collaborations between the varied disciplines of composition, musicology, historical research and performance.  Since early 2021, “Partitions & Resonances” has taken the form of a monthly listening series of compositions by Wandelweiser and related composers/artists/sound artists hosted by Audio Foundation, Auckland.

He currently collaborates with: Peter Ablinger, Jürg Frey, Antoine Beuger, Sam Dunscombe, Keir GoGwilt, Catherine Lamb, Klaus Lang, Mike Majkowski, Phill Niblock, Michael Pisaro, Derek Shirley, Germaine Sijstermans, Taku Sugimoto, Eric Wong.

As composer and performer, his articulated performances have been featured in: Staatsoper/ OperaLab//DAAD Mikromusik/MaerzMusik (Berlin), Donaueschingen Musiktage, Edition Festival (Stockholm), Sonic Acts Festival/Muziekgebouw (Amsterdam), Gaudeamus (Utrecht), Cafe OTO (London), Riverrun Festival (Albi), Q-O2 workspace (Brussels), Wandelweiser Klangraum (Düsseldorf), Minimal Jukebox (Los Angeles Philharmonic), Audio Foundation/Pyramid Club (NZ).

Manuel Valverde is a composer born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has a Bachelor´s degree in musical composition from U.N.A (National University of the Arts in Argentina).
	
Throughout these years, he has received commissions and premiered works in places and festivals such as the Colon Theater of Buenos Aires, Cervantes Theater, San Martín Cultural Center, The National Music Center in Argentina, The Law School of the Univerity of Buenos Aires, IN/OUT international festival (Pro Helvetia), cheLA, performed by groups and musicians such as Ensamble Tropi, EMC DAMus, Ensamble GEAM, Ensamble Vocal Contemporáneo, David Nuñez, among others.

He has received different distinctions, among which is having been selected by Pro Helvetia South America as representative of Argentina to make an artistic residency in Switzerland in 2021/2022, developing activities in the season 21-22 of Gare du Nord (Basel). In turn, he was selected with full scholarship to participate in Atlatincx: Latin American Composition Course, organized by Festival Nueva Ópera (Buenos Aires), Music of the Americas (NY) and Ensemble 2e2m (France). In addition, in 2019 he received an honorable mention for his ensemble piece "La situación interna" in the Juan Carlos Paz Award of the Fondo Nacional de las Artes in Argentina.

Manuel Valverde es un compositor nacido en Buenos Aires, Argentina. Se graduó como Licenciado en Artes Musicales con orientación en composición en la U.N.A. (Universidad Nacional de las Artes en Argentina). 

Ha recibido encargos y estrenado obras en diversas salas y festivales como el Centro de Experimentación del Teatro Colón, el Teatro Nacional Cervantes, el Centro Cultural San Martín, la Facultad de Derecho de la UBA, Festival internacional IN/OUT (Pro Helvetia), espacio cheLA, interpretadas por grupos y músicos como el EMC DAMus, Ensamble Tropi, Ensamble GEAM, Ensamble Vocal Contemporáneo, David Núñez, entre otros.

Ha recibido diferentes distinciones a lo largo de estos años, entre las que se encuentra haber sido seleccionado por Pro Helvetia Sudamérica como representante de Argentina para realizar una residencia artística en Suiza en 2022, desarrollando actividades en la temporada 21-22 de Gare du Nord (Basilea). A su vez, fue seleccionado con beca completa para participar en Atlatincx: Curso de Composición, organizado por el Festival Nueva Ópera (Buenos Aires), Music of the Americas (NY) y Ensemble 2e2m (Francia). Steven Vinkenoog (Haarlem 1970) is a composer, sound artist and guitarist from the Netherlands. 
He went to an awful lot of art schools, institutes and universities, and has been playing in bands since the early eighties. 
Somewhere in the year 2000 he started making guitar based sound installations, which eventually resulted in making open ended scores with an interest in improvisation and process music, very much aware of the social aspects of playing music together.
You might also know him as one half of the musical slapstick duo Donné et Desirée.
