Ellen Fish has been playing, writing and singing folk songs since 2001. She has recently recorded her third album at Run Stop Sound in Abbotsford, Victoria with producer and composer Neil Kelly. Her style ranges from poignant contemporary folk to country, gospel and blues. Her songs explore local Australian themes and create personal inner landscapes. While known for her haunting songs of love and loss, Ellen does have funny songs too. Ellen performs at various venues around Melbourne. Ellen has 3 CDs: The Only Colour - an album of original music (9 original songs, 1 traditional); Supermoon - an EP of 4 original songs; Fruits of Love - an 11 song compilation of traditional Celtic, English and American folk songs.
