Yamaha GX-1 Strings

The "Gorky V1"  analog synthesizer (Горький В1, Военный аналоговый синтезатор) was a Soviet replica of Yamaha's GX-1. It was secretly built at the military rocket development center in Nizhny Novgorod around 1980 as part of a prototype of an "audio-weapon" to destroy the West sonically.
I recorded all demos over big speakers in a live room, adding just expander/gate to the mike signal. No effects, no equalizers.
It is said that the development and building costs of that synthesizer (out of rocket and satellite electronic parts) were equivalent of five Red Army MIG Jets in 1980. That‘s why the instrument is very stable. No problems so far with the silver mica and teflon caps they used.
