Ingannevole, è il frutto di quasi due anni di lavorazione con il coinvolgimento di molti dei musicisti con cui Olimpia ha collaborato nella sua carriera finora. Arriva dopo molti singoli e rappresenta un viaggio musicale che riflette la sua personalità, artisticamente e musicalmente. Prevalentemente jazz, include sfumature di pop e cantautorato, oltre a brani intimi solo piano e voce. Tra i musicisti: Mario Rosini al piano (che ha scritto molti degli inediti), Paolo Romano al basso, Mimmo Campanale alla batteria, Guido Di Leone alla chitarra jazz, Bruno Montrone al piano, Gianni Binetti al sax, Maurizio Lampugnani alle percussioni. Nei featuring spiccano nomi come Fabrizio Bosso alla tromba, Giovanni Astorino al violoncello, Giuseppe Milici all'armonica, Gianni Rotondo, e Savio Vurchio. Questi sono solo alcuni dei tantissimi musicisti coinvolti in questo progetto. Comprende cover di brani e interpretazioni significative della sua carriera, come canzoni di Sergio Cammariere, Vasame di Gragnaniello, Samba della Rosa di Toquinho, e Mi sono innamorato di te di Luigi Tenco.

Moon Synod is based on a basic track that Barnim Schultze gave me to do whatever I want with it. Based on the cosmic frequencies, I had the possibility to express my very personal percussive view on it.
Since I work closely with trumpeter Steven Craven, it was natural for him to apply his incredible talents to this dreamlike piece.
The result is a wonderful piece
that allows you to dive deep into wonderful worlds full of harmony and positive energy. 

It was produced by me in the Bergtonstudio in Andalusia.

Not, and this marks its artistic profile, not additively, "side by side". Ullip combines these functions in order to let a new something emerge from them. CDs whose tracks do not preserve and reproduce "played music" as is usually the case. But CDs where the music is created by editing, mixing and recording it "on the fly". The CD as an audience, so to speak. With the great advantage that - in contrast to live sessions - one can enjoy the cuts of the CDs over and over again.
Based on a rich musical experience and an almost "wild" past, Ullip - together with other musicians - has today found a style that activates and inspires a special genre:

'Chained music'.

Sounds and pieces, music and rhythms that are played in a self-inspiring way or created on technical devices. Born in the moment, just like jazz. Also, not only as in jazz, given as a theme, otherwise improvised. Above all, they are not reproductions in the sense of notated notes. All the elements that stand between the first beat and sound of a live gig, a studio recording and the final burning process on a CD are interlinked to create what the "piece" recorded on silver discs ultimately is.

A therapeutic journey into a mix of jazz, classical, and a blend of types of electronica.  And a wry, gradual observation that promotion tends to only go as far as you push it.  At least I make my fellow musicians laugh a little.
