London-based DJ and producer Pete Ellison has been spinning music for 25 years and has a passion for funk and disco, blending sounds of the 70s with house beats, vocal samples and chunky basslines.

He broadcasts a weekly show on NDC Radio called the "Feel Good Friday Show", with a special guest each week from the Nu-Disco world. The show won the award of "Best Radio Show" at the OGV Music Awards in 2022. 

He's had releases on Super Spicy Records, Spincat Music, Discoholics Anonymous, Mango Sounds, Discography Lessons, Spa In Disco, Duchesse and Hot Digits. Two of his tracks have hit the Number 1 spot on Juno Download.  

He runs a London DJ collective called Serendipity who throw underground events and boat parties. He has played at dozens of London clubs,  and has played at Wilderness, Secret Garden Party, boat parties, woodland raves, Ibiza pool parties and even the dungeon of a French chateau. Long DJ sets are a speciality, with his longest ever DJ performance being an epic 12-hour set.

Pete is also part of The Disco Waltons, a group of International DJs and Disco Lovers who came together during lockdown through their love of music. They host a Sunday night show on NDC Radio, playing on rotation with special guests

When you listen to Sebastian Mullaert’s music you will feel something enchanting, a resonance that delivers truth, integrity and reminds us to simply be. The Swedish artist has a distinct approach to life, as well as music, which is centred around tranquillity, stillness and the convergence of Zen meditation, nature and creativity. Known for his work as one half of Minilogue, Sebastian is also an accomplished solo artist with new material ready to roll. As an artist that is constantly evolving he has taken a bold new direction in his sonic exploration, immersing himself in the neo-classical scene and joining forces with one of the top 10 philharmonic orchestras in the world - Tonhalle Zürich. Working with great care and innovation he has created a truly immersive audio-visual performance experience, combining a mesmerising integration of electronic and classical instrumentation, with a visual art installation based on breath taking nature landscapes shot from a helicopter perspective. With such an innovative approach he aims to bridge the gap between classical and electronic music and introduce a whole new generation to the neo-classical concept. 

Sebastian's deep connection with music can be traced back to his formative years; from playing the organ and violin as a child, to performing in orchestras, string quartets and pop band, progressing into electronic music in his late teens. Discovering house and techno in the mid-nineties was the catalyst behind a revolution in his life, he set out on a new musical pathway, to promote the simplicity of being. Throughout the late nineties he experimented with electronic sounds, forming cult duo Minilogue with a friend and releasing with Crosstown Rebels, Traum Schallplatten, Wagon Repair and more, plus two albums via Cocoon – ‘Animals’ (2008) and ‘Blomma’ (2013). In 2014, the duo decided to take a break and invest their time in solo projects and Sebastian has since been hard at work cultivating a collection of new music already snapped up by hugely influential labels such as R&S sub-label Apollo, Drumcode, Hypercolour and Minus.

Sebastian Mullaert’s live performances are awe-inspiring, combining technical wizardry with energy, atmosphere and euphoria, you only have to watch his “Interpretations” performance for XLR8R or Boiler Room appearance for examples of his prowess. Recognition of his aptitude has led him to perform at institutions and festivals such as Panorama Bar - Berlin, Labyrinth Festival - Japan, Fabric - London, Concrete - Paris, The Block - Tel Aviv and Blackmarket - NYC. 

Sebastian’s collaborative work runs parallel to his solo endeavours and he has teamed up with several figures in the techno world to produce some unforgettable releases. Collaborators include Mathew Jonson, Eitan Reiter, Aril Brikha and Ulf Eriksson, and releases have come via underground platforms such as Hypnus, Mule Musiq and Kontra Musik. He also produces under the alias Wa Wu We, offering a serene, understated take on the techno aesthetic. Furthermore he is involved in the new Be Yokai project, a trio formed of Sebastian, Douglas Holmquist and Kristoffer Ström. The three men formed a natural alliance, finding their flow after several sessions together. Their first EP is signed to Hypercolour sub-label Space Hardware, with a live show and more music in the pipeline.

Sebastian Mullaert is already established as a potent force in the world of electronic music. Serious about reminding people to BE on the dance floor, or in the comfort of their own home, the music he makes is deep, progressive and utterly unique. Whatever the future holds, you can be sure he will continue to channel the infinite energy that surrounds us into every facet of his life.

Everything comes in its own time: a wordly wisdom that Marcus Henriksson and Sebastian Mullaert aka Minilogue take for granted. Since their foundation in the year 1997 they emerged to one of the most respected and hard to pigeonhole electronic music acts world-wide. And that not only because in each of their artistic expressions you can feel their effortless passion for what they do - whether live or magnetized on a medium. Also because they do not stick to any stylistic niche to mark their territory. House, techno, ambient, trance, and lately jazz are equal parts in their creations.

The most effective bunched proof for their musical universalism was marked in 2008 with the release of their debut album „Animals““ on Cocoon. Since then a string of Ep’s on labels like Mule, Wagon Repair, Traum Schallplatten, and their own imprint Minilogue continued their story in sound in which everything is made out of the present moment. Also the jazz infused album „Bring Out The Imps“ that they recorded under the alias IMPS with two jazz musicians and a heartfelt collaboration album with the Japanese producer Kuniyuki entered their discography.

And between all their work they constantly performed their intense improvised live shows all around the globe. Privatly they formed themself a life far beyond the big city lights, out in the Swedish woods in the north of Malmö. Here they live a life where the inner gets the outer and where their way of creating is far away from Zeitgeist zones in which musical trends pass by like seasons. In the past five years they met every now and then when it felt like hooking up in the studio, jammed on their equipment without a clear goal in mind and recorded each unique moment that was guided by the experience of the single day of life that marked their souls when they came together. In past months they went through the archives of their creative comments on our time, that been born in moments where time was not on the agenda. In that time just music called the tune and as a result of this pure form of conversation between two souls their second album „Blomma“ emerged.

The title of the album isn’t just a name. The Swedish word „blomma“ represents two meanings in one: to bloom and the flower. The flower and the blooming are deeply tied to each other - as for Minilogue the process of making music and the temporary result of the process is one too, the album title matches perfectly with their aim of beeing aimless. Out of this attitude towards making music again a heterogeneous longplayer arose that does not work like a regulary formatted club music album. It comes in two parts that both have two faces within themself which are constantly shifting: dance oriented rhythm parts and airy layered ambient atmospheres – always intensely tuneful, musical, and shapely.

All eight tracks underpin the wisdom that says that in the moment of deep creativity you disappear. Because no ego can be heard and all grooves, melodies, field-recordings, samples, and chords work like a single colour of a musical painting that is full of versatile electric elements und unnatural sounds. Sounds that only evolve if those who create them are far away from knowing that they create. A state of mind that Minilogue bound on a double album that is just there to let the music speak. That is why again you can’t see their faces on the cover. Instead pictures of the nature that surrounds them in their everyday life stimulate the fancy of the listener while his ears get lost in a gentle amalgamation of rhythm and sound that conveys the impression that it just flew through the bodies of both while their extremities instantly used each instrument around – from the computer to the synth, from percussions to piano.

Nothing you can hear on the album is edited or post produced – it all sounds exactly like it was when the atoms of these two individuals danced together. The result is a record with no real beginning or end. An album that tells unconscious an epic story about the path it took to make it. With each atmospheric turn it blooms like an unreal sound fairytale which leaves much space for the listeners individual imagination. You can dance to it, you can ease, you can loose your feeling towards time and space. Whatever happens – in one moment suddenly Minilogue are very close, even if they are not present.

A  House music dj that plays across the spectrum from deep to tech to progressive to electro and even back to my roots of old school garage! Now days I am playing a lot more of the deeper/ tech / bass driven type of house that has become popular. 

I have been djing since 1999 and have be lucky enough to play on various stations such as Freeze, Passion, Ice Cold & Don to name a few. I have also been luckily enough to dj across London's clubland in venues like Ministry of sound, Pacha, Whitehouse, Area, Lightbox plus many more.
