The Notwist live at Radialsystem on 17 February, 2019.

Back in February 2019, one of the most important and versatile German indie bands graced us with its presence and a special set of mainly instrumental works developed for collaborations with film, theatre and radio. It was an amazing pleasure.

Special thanks to the band for the great performance. And cheers to Jan Gieseke and Radialsystem's sound department for the amazing sound, the recordings and the mastering.

The Notwist @ UM:LAUT - Lineri (Live)

UM:LAUT is a live platform for artists and labels availing themselves of various musical traditions, realising ambitious and unique projects regardless of genre boundaries. The series' focus lies on the experimental range between classical and electronic instrumentation, composition and improvisation, club and concert hall. Considering itself an open stage for cooperations between artists of different disciplines, UM:LAUT aims to present music in dialogue with other art forms – music giving impulses to film, video, photography, installation, dance and performance.

We are a Cologne based DJ and Animation practice, celebrating the energy of our musical socialization with a sound ranging from 80s low-fi disco reminiscences to electro & techno.
The repertoire recruits a wide spectrum of music, whose eccentricity gives the tracks an iconic identity.
RuidoRuido's rhythm results from breaks in style and tempo, celebrating cultural provenance & zeitgeist and paying homage to escalation with minimalist opulence.
Noise and frenzy for the dancefloor, bittersweet and "off the beaten tracks"...
Corresponding visuals amplify the hypnotic atmosphere of our events.
