October 2013 will see the reissue of 26-year old American composer Peter Broderick's 2008 debut album Float. Returning to his home in Oregon, where his musical journey began, Peter completes the circle with the release of Float 2013. Remastered by the gifted hands of Nils Frahm, Float 2013 will also include two additional bonus tracks with each album download and will be reissued on CD, vinyl, digital and even on a limited edition cassette via Erased Tapes. The album release will also be accompanied by Float 2013 Addendum, a 7” single featuring ‘Something Has Changed’ re-arranged as a duet for violin and viola, with the new title ‘Something Has Remained’.

Brought up in a musical household in Oregon, Peter quickly became a popular session musician for the likes of M. Ward in the Portland area. Later discovered by the Danish band Efterklang he joined their live band and spent the next six years based in Europe where he collaborated with many like-minded contemporaries. Through relentless touring, multiple album recordings and film scores Peter has established himself as a solo artist, known for his innate gift as a musical medium to picking up any instrument, turning his musings into poignant songs.

Having previously released ‘Ten Duets‘ on cassette tape, Peter is a big fan of this format and is excited to be taking part in Cassette Store Day on September 7th 2013. Float 2013 will be available in store in a hand numbered limited edition of purple cassettes in bespoke packaging. And a bit later I found myself in the studio of my dear friend Nils, remastering these songs which on one hand felt so far away, but on the other felt right at the core of my musical heart, the foundation of my aspirations as a musician. And what Nils did to the sound, how he worked his magic as he always does, filled me with the conviction that this project had not previously reached its potential. In so many ways I've found myself coming around the circle, back to the place I started, only perhaps the circle itself has moved. But the dream is the same. Every beginning carries excitement and unpredictability, requiring something extraordinary. Whether rooted in creationism, biblical narratives, or the Big Bang Theory, both theological and scientific origin stories resonate with events echoing millions of years into the future. One of the leading names in contemporary underground music, Guy J, embarks on a new journey. As a dedicated futurist and sound enthusiast who pushes boundaries akin to science fiction, Guy delivers the first track on his new label with an abstract vision of the layered future of sound. From the opening patterns till the end, A Million Years From Now offers an adventure, blending moments of free-flowing thought with a perfectly engineered audio collage that evokes a spectrum of abstract emotions—from melancholia and psychedelia to breathless excitement and, ultimately, pure euphoria.
The layered creativity transcends realism, leading listeners into a state of trance. The second piece, Just Rain, kicks off with a bass-heavy, pumping kick drum that vibrates speakers on any sound system.

As the field of modern and innovative classical music continues to expand and draw more attention, Danish pianist @augustrosenbaum is certainly an artist to watch out for. His previous efforts have earned the RBMA '13 alum support from influential figures such as Nils Frahm, MØ and Robin Hannibal, and an exalted status among critics and peers in Scandinavia.

His latest release, 'Rhizome', sees Rosenbaum take a firm stand for musical abstraction, delivering a sprawling and captivating epic of an EP. With the help of Lars Greve, Mads Forsby and Mike Sheridan, Rosenbaum has recorded a 3-piece of delicate meditations that never fully disclose their destination route, and yet seem driven by distinct force. We're beyond thrilled that August agreed to let us present the first two tracks from the EP right here on our Soundcloud. The traces of Roedelius, 0PN, Deleuze and Feldman that Rosenbaum himself namedrops as influences repeatedly shine through and give us much to be excited about when it comes to this man's compositions.

Six months later, I was still pulling my hair out in some kind of quest to make the perfect mix. Late Night Tales: Ólafur Arnalds (Album Sampler)

Sprawling space sounds tell stories of far galaxies - the music fuses single instruments into each other and the sound gets a swirly acid madness… This is psychedelic music without being bound to certain stylistic directions: What matters is the flow. A wonderful soundtrack for a journey to the far out vastnesses of the inner cosmos.
Interkosmos were founded in 2008 by Sula Bassana (Electric Moon, Zone Six, Krautzone) on bass, Pablo Carneval (formerly Electric Moon, The Blowing Lewinsky) on drums und Sergio Ceballos (RIP KC) on guitar.
They recorded the complete album „Hypnotizer“ incessantly. After a tour through Spain and several gigs in Austria, Sergio went back to his home in Spain, so the line-up of Interkosmos got changed. One livetrack with the second line-up you will find as bonus on this album.
„Hypnotizer“ got released initially as „Interkosmos - same title“ (in it’s archetype, without the bonus track) as a tiny CD-R edition and as free download on the platform „Clinical Archives“ (where it got downloaded more than 30.000 times!).
Now, after 8 years, it is certain: there must be a proper release of this stuff!
After some reflecting, Sulatron Records decided to release „Hypnotizer“ as a proper CD issue (even if it is available on bandcamp now), limited to 500 copies in Jewelcase.
Mastered by Krautrock-legend Eroc. Coverdesign by Lulu Artwork!.
The norwegean label Pancromatic will release it as double vinyl (lim. to 300 on marbled wax and 300 on black wax) in April.
