Tariq Bakir (TARiiiQ) is a multi-faceted vocalist, DJ, and producer from Edmonton, AB. His style is versatile and modern yet shows true appreciation and acknowledgments of the roots and foundations. TARiiiQ is built a name for himself through his “true school" boom-bap tracks with fierce bars and jazzy aesthetics. But don't pigeonhole him to that as he has a vast variety of unreleased tracks spanning from trap, downtempo, psychedelic sounds, and lofi. As he grows and evolves, so does his sound.

W.T.F.I.W.

WTFIW is Zac Newman, an Edmonton-based DJ who has been perfecting his craft for five years, performing locally and abroad. Represented by Funk Bunker and Jungle Fever in Edmonton, AB, Canada, he creates melodic and bass heavy mixes. Having played venues such as Brixx, 9910, The Mercury Room, Avenue, The Black Dog (AB, Canada) he has also travelled to Astral Harvest (AB), Motion Notion (BC), One Acre Shaker (AB), and Ocean Coral Turquesa(Cancun, Mexico) to share his resounding music.

Passage (better known in the community as Whitney Caine) is an emerging DJ and producer from Edmonton, Canada. Making connections on the decks as much as she does on the dance floor, her sound creates balance with paradox -- sustained by a foundation of deep bass and rolling breaks.

Whitney is an ever-growing representative of the Umbral Sound System crew, including the host and curator of Umbral’s monthly mix series on Sub FM. As diverse as she is cohesive, Passage juxtaposes grimey and ethereal elements, her underground tastes infused with a pop sensibility all her own.
