Krucial has always believed music to have no borders, but being a kid from Southern Alberta there certainly wasn’t much Dubstep or underground bass music presence in his life. Creating a community is something he cherishes deeply and is something he has always strived for. Having created connections with artists from all over the world, he has always had a deep love for the UK sounds and always will. This mix however has a splash of North American bass music that he believes stands up to the legendary sounds of the UK underground. Dubplates, technical mixing, & a bit of light finger drumming inside! Let’s bridge the gap together.

“Under trees and over mountains. Those are the places I want to be reflected in my music.” Patrick Cunningham began the Woadus project with the vision of bringing a natural element to the world of electronic music. Drawing inspiration from folk and world music of all cultures, Woadus evokes a style committed to reconnecting with the earth through music. Channeling the beauty, the power, the provision, and the indifference of our planet and giving it a sound.

Woadus will often venture out into nature to collect audio recordings for his music. “All through history, events of cultural and spiritual importance have taken place out in the wilderness. Deep in a forest, atop the peaks of mountains, on the coast of oceans. There is a power in these places that I try to capture.”

With years of experience playing at several Edmonton venues, releases on DoYu Digital and NVMA Records, several guest features on sub.fm radio as well as CJSW radio’s “What Will the Neighbours Think”, Woadus is now focusing on releasing his debut EP as well as breaking into the western Canada festival scene.
