GIANT IBIS
(First Hour)

Carter Hordyski, better known under the moniker Giant Ibis, is a 30 year old producer/DJ hailing from Edmonton, AB, Canada. Since this project came to life, he has established himself as a figure in the Wave genre and continues to push the sound to this day. He has received international radio play on Plastician's prior Rinse FM show, BBC Radio, and has also released tracks with Vibe.Digital, Terrorhythm and Muti Music to name a few. His sound is heavily influenced by space, metaphysics and his day to day life. You can expect to hear a blend of his slower and quicker productions, inspired by the melodic wave sound as well as half-time, drum and bass, and jungle elements. He is working on a second alias to explore more of the UKG realm, so expect to find out more about that in the future.

QWAZ!
(Second Hour)

QWAZ! is a multi-disciplinary creative exploring art, music and fashion. For DJ sets, they tend to gravitate towards UK grime, 140, underground hip hop and trap along with some eclectic grungy hyper pop sets. They also produce tracks that are yet to be released as they refine their production skills. QWAZ! is also one of the founders/members of TRASHGARDEN, a creative duo that performs DJ sets accompanied by live painting. Passage (better known in the community as Whitney Caine) is an emerging DJ and producer from Edmonton, Canada. Making connections on the decks as much as she does on the dance floor, her sound creates balance with paradox -- sustained by a foundation of deep bass and rolling breaks.

Whitney is an ever-growing representative of the Umbral Sound System crew, including the host and curator of Umbral’s monthly mix series on Sub FM. As diverse as she is cohesive, Passage juxtaposes grimey and ethereal elements, her underground tastes infused with a pop sensibility all her own.
