 I am a pro musician active in many genres of music - singer-songwriter, jazz, electronic music, Celtic, new age, ambient, and world music. My Soundcloud is a place to park latest mixes of pieces I am working on. I "organise" a monthly improvised electronic music night Quadelectronic at Quad Studios, Leicester. I have released over 80 albums, solo and in various groups. My electronic music, often featuring the theremin, is often focussed on ambient dreamscapes, largely tonal but sometimes just crossing over into atonal/textural soundscapes and is usually born out of a longstanging love of improvisation, perhaps springing from my ECM style jazz & free jazz background.

Canadian songwriter, actor and author, adrift in the UK.

Kenton Hall & The Necessary Measures is the solo project (with very necessary guests) of Kenton Hall - Canadian songwriter, author and film director, formerly of the band ist. He is also the author of Bisection, a comic memoir of living and parenting with bipolar disorder, the writer/director of the feature film "A Dozen Summers" and co-wrote the 10-Part Audible drama Getting Better, starring Rhod Gilbert, Kathryn Drysdale, Neve McIntosh and Mark Gatiss.

Monkey Basket is a music and film label, responsible for ist's acclaimed Toothpick Bridge, the feature film "A Dozen Summers" (now streaming on Netflix) and the three-part Kenton Hall & The Necessary Measures release for 2022: The album Idiopath, the companion album Omnipath (all 36 songs from the Idiopath sessions reinterpreted by other artists) due for release late 2022 and Videopath, a feature-length music video anthology which will launch in 2023.

With a love of gleaming melodies and reverb-drenched guitars, Dayflower blend the noise of My Bloody Valentine and Air style soundscapes with a DIY feel that evokes early Pavement and the indelible song craft of The La’s… coated in just the kind of hazy sheen to please fans of 4AD and Creation records. 

Initially a bedroom project with no expectations, their tunes have gone on to win over music fans around the world, assisted by airplay on BBC6 Music / Introducing and physical releases on New York's Cloudberry Records and Stuttgart based Summer Darling Tapes.

Dayflower’s next album, ‘Comfort’ is due to be released on Chicago based independent label Sunday Records later in 2024

Adam Ellis is a music producer, singer/songwriter, guitarist and performer. Renowned for his recording and sound engineering at Deadline Studios, Leicester, and his live work with The Tomcats/The Tomtoms and The Sounds Of Simon, aswell as his own songs with bands Maybe Grace, Ellis and Mother Hubbard.
