HI TRAX is Melbourne’s newest underground collective, comprised of producer RaptorHandz (A.K.A Able8), Joe Snow (Defenders Of Style, UK) and Hilltop Hoods APRA grant recipient Sinks. 

Megalodon Music is a sustained onslaught of technical flows woven over the violent bass lines of RaptorHandz. The record also boasts a feature from top ranking UK Grime and D’n’B MC Devilman. With determination to put heavy pressure on dance floors through the use of relentless bass, and complex double-time flows, Hi Trax is set to light the scene on fire.

HI TRAX pays homage to Hip-Hop, Grime and Dubstep and blends these influences to create a unique style of up-tempo, bass-heavy electronica. Their first video single; ‘Locked’, taken from the groups debut EP ‘Megalodon Music’ was filmed and directed by prominent videographer; Carl Allison which saw the deployment of his signature cinematic prowess. The opening track puts the crews raw talent on full display seamlessly, merging genres.

Karmaleena is a rapper that grew up in the city of Brisbane and Sunshine Coast. She started writing rhythm and poetry when she was 13, choosing to study the raps of her favorite artists in the classes she didn’t care for. She was always reading and studying the written work of American artists like Eminem, KRS-One, Stic. Man, Ras Kass & Immortal Technique. There influence is easily identified with her masterful flow, technical delivery and direct conscious message. She has aligned with a renowned label beathedz based in Melbourne as is currently working toward her first ever release.
It took many years for Karma to find her confidence, message and voice worth sharing. After struggling with an addiction that gripped her for many years - music has been that bright light that has led her back to the scene stronger than ever before. She’s managed to connect and align with the label Beathedz down in Melbourne who will be officially dropping her first release that is yet to be titled.

Others have described Karmaleena’s sound as direct, universal, unique, conscious, refreshing, deep and intelligent.. Some things she likes to focus on when writing music is her clarity, not swearing and a song's clear message. She avoids addressing and putting focus on her gender. She aims to reach an unbiased hip-hop community that can relate just by being human.

Vibing from Chicago,IL, Hu Go Lo is emerging from the hotbed of the entertainment world and expanding rapidly as he currently has been performing on the West Coast.  This multi-faceted diverse DJ has transferred energies into the young and old alike in seemingly hypnotizing mixes that keep everyone grooving all night long.  Raised in a family of musicians and DJs, Hu Go Lo has been submerged into synesthetic vibes of sound since birth.  With his unique setup, cutting edge technique, and beautiful deep track selection, Hu Go Lo takes his audience on magical journeys of vibe and sound that seem to make time stop and let you lose yourself in the energies that he transfers upon you.  It is also not uncommon to find Hu Go Lo spinning a dragon staff, sampling, and drumming during his sets. In the last several years he has grown to become a resident at Chicago’s Peace Fest, Jawandai, Official Chicago Afters, and Sun Palace Production events.  While a lot of DJs stick to one or two genres, Hu Go Lo likes to take his listeners on a journey through energy and sound with varying genres that will have you seeing sound and hearing colors while travelling on an adventure that you will want to be a part of.
