The relentless work ethic of DJ W!LD shows no sign of slowing down with another amazing EP, this time through his own imprint The W Label, that unleashes four new tracks plus a dubbed out remix. In contrast to his recent output on other labels the five tracks sit firmly in the ‘DJ Tools’ category with stripped back arrangements, raw-to- the-bone underground house grooves and drums showcasing all that is good about the Parisian’s highly in-demand DJ sets. Head-nodding tribal infused percussion is the main theme with tracks ‘Blind’ and ‘Miami Bitch’ setting the scene with a brass breakdown in the latter that is sure to send shivers down spines. ‘Narco’ switches things up with its core element focused around a shoulder shaking bass organ straight out of the 90’s. ‘On Board’ gets and original and re-worked Dub outing with hypnotic congas and a vocal that loops inside the mind.

His interest in techno/house electronic music begins 1993. Rich clubbing experience gave him a chance to start his own production. Main source of quality electronic music were clubs and guest Djs mostly here in Zagreb. After gathering all styles together DAV came up with sound that is based on tech-house & deep-tech style influence. Background of 80's electronic music is also present in his work. As a dj he played in many Croatian & Slovenian clubs with his basic tech-house style, playing only his production . Finally in 2001 he signs for his first release in London and many of them followed. He is also a member of «Stereo Studio» crew here in Zagreb, which is the strongest promoting organisation here in Croatia. Many strong djs were included in those big «Stereo Studio» parties that he played with , like : Terry Francis, Asad Rizvi, Grant Dell, Eddie Richards, Gideon Jackson, Richard Grey, Get Fucked, Pure Science, Ian Pooley, Felver, Omar...

A nomadic spirit tracing her ancestry in the frozen Arctic and mountains of Translyvlania,  Claire is one of the most globe-trotting artists Montreal's electronic scene has to offer. In fact, she just recently concluded a wide-ranging summer tour schedule that included musical jaunts in Switzerland, Germany, British Columbia, and the Honduran Bay Islands. From Piknic Electronik to the Techno Parade, and from MUTEK to Club Der Visionaere, Claire’s music is shaking up dancefloors all over the world. 

With several EPs on vinyl and has released on labels Conceptual, Monoclap, Archipel and more. A bit of a gear junkie, Claire has a small but mighty arsenal of synthesizers, samplers, sequencers, and drum machines. Something just flows when those machines come alive and for 2022, she is shifting her focus to live performance. She's also been hard at work preparing to launch her own label, Planète Secrète. So hyped to release a tune I made with one of my best mates J.Peacock today! This one was made after a pretty long break from making music as I got a bit lost in what I wanted to do and overthinking shit. Me and Joel got together for a late night studio session one Friday with a bunch of samples (from his Dad’s killer 7” sou collection) and a load of beers and went IN. Tom Pardy made an appearance at some point also (shout out Tom). In the morning the project was pretty messy, but we sorted that on the next session and here we are. This night in the studio basically instigated me writing the rest of the EP over the next week or so (more on these later).  As always, hope you’re into it, let me know what you think. RA.1000 launches with Theo Parrish, live at fabric: a vanishingly rare club mix from the king of deep crates and impossible transitions.

There are DJ sets and then there are Theo sets. No matter how many times you've caught him in action, every time still feels like the first. Running hot, levels smoking, isolator working over time. You think you know dance music? Think again.

Parrish's debut on the RA Podcast is a milestone for the series, one we've sought for over 15 years. So it was only right that Theo led off our 1000th celebrations. Recorded live at fabric last December as part of RA's party with the London club for their 25th anniversary, this three-hour segment documents the crescendo of his eight-hour marathon. 

The Detroit legend doesn't release mixes often, and when he does, they're usually studio recordings: think NTS shows, his 100% Detroit edition of DJ-Kicks or classic tapes Body (1997) and Methods of Movement (2000). A capture of the Sound Signature boss on the dancefloor is hard to come by.

Sure, there's galvanising build-ups and crowd-pleasers, but laced throughout a Parrish beatdown are rarities designed to shock the system. In a business dominated by marketing, the vinyl master towers above thanks to a relentless hunger for lustrous melodies, moods and textures of all stripes, which he and he alone can fold into an inspiring and exhilarating joyride.

On RA.1000, blissful reggae precedes new wave disco; '80s R&B morphs into synthy techno; bleepy Chicago jack makes way for a poignant vocal ballad. It's Theo through and through. Once again, he proves that anything and everything is possible with the right records.

The four tracks see W!LD at his most underground and dirty; it’s 3am music for when the freaks come out.
