Beyond a Kasper Bjørke guest spot and a smattering of live performances, there isn't much to kooky Icelandic group Sísý Ey's name. Well, until now – and what a way to make an entrance. "Do It Good" is outrageously fun: a bobbling bassline, coursing synth action and emphatic earworm vocals interlock to supreme effect; Neville Watson's aptly named "Power Dub" does similar damage.

It's the same kind of raw, untrammelled energy that Mr Intl label boss Andy Butler provided in abundance when stripping down to his underwear during a boiling Hercules & Love Affair session this time last summer. In a different set of circumstances, this would have been a nailed-on no.1 smash, but alas.

Get your booty on the floor tonight (or wait for the physical, coming Aug 14th).

In February 2016 Midland made his contribution to the hugely influential BBC Essential Mix series. The end of the mix came in the shape of an unreleased track that would go on to soundtrack dance floors and festivals the world over. That track was 'Final Credits.' Since its creation in the depths of winter to its vinyl release in June, with weekly airings everywhere from Panorama Bar to DC10 to Dekmantel Festival, the record has united dance floors and become one of the most unlikely tracks of the year. As the summer disappeared, calls for a full release of 'Final Credits' have swelled, and now, thanks to The Classic Music Company we're delighted to say this is becoming a reality.

Re-igniting the dancefloors twenty years after its original release, Steve Bug refreshes this classic Chez Damier production, originally from 1992. ‚Can You Feel It‘ is one of those classic New York / Chicago House jams that just defines a moment in dance music history. Dessous label boss Steve Bug arranges two special mixes that celebrate and re-juvinate this very special record.

Steve‘s straight up remix maintains the classic vibes with a sensitive 90s themed re-work that calls upon clean, fresh drums and smooth sub bass as its initial building blocks. The instantly recognisable vocal is included, as is the hey-day chord vibes and glorious US house melodies. Simply deadly in the right moments... A Re-Dub version is also included that spaces things out and opens up the strings in a breezy and superbly mixed club tool.

A ‚New York Dub‘ has also been included, dug out from the Chez Damier vaults and re-mastered for 2012 - highly prized vibes on this and his trademark, pushing, swinging drums keep us going ‚on and on‘!

For those in the know, Lars Vegas is the alias for Lars Dales who has cemented a massive reputation for quality House grooves as one half of the dynamic duo Detroit Swindle. Stepping out on his own for his debut Large Music release, Lars proves that he indeed has a flair for the dramatic with two stellar tracks that push the movement forward while paying tribute to where it all began. This is top shelf Deep House for those who love it and for those who will love it soon enough.

As if this package wasn’t strong enough already based on the two defining tracks, Large Music and Lars have enlisted the fine talents of underground heroes Homework to join in with a stomper of a remix for ‘Break Me Down’. Homework are widely praised for their original releases on labels such as Berlin-based Exploited, 2020 Vision, Jesse Rose’s Made To Play, and Riva Starr’s Snatch! as well as strains of remixes erupting from their Amsterdam studio. These two gentlemen have garnered a continuing sense of awe from both the famous and not yet famous DJs across the globe for their uncompromising approach to making proper underground music. On this particular remix outing, Homework give a firm nod to the rich Deep House history of Large Music yet still manage to keep the vibe fresh and alive.

a/jus/ted is the musical concept of veteran producer Justin Strauss and analog aficionado Teddy Stuart, better known as Eddie Mars. The pairs inaugural release comes in the form of "A brighter light" featuring the incandescent vocals of Jeremy Glenn for London based Under the shade records.

Although a relatively new pairing the due kick off life with a masterful original which moves through its earlier stripped analogue subtleties into an effervescent marauder. The gleaming arp hooks and Glenn's spritely soulful vocal are gradually joined by whacked out acid tinged licks punctuated by a bright billowy bass throughout all the while being lifted from the rousing pads.  All in all achieving a track that sounds at once classic, yet unmistakably modern, file under "end of night".  A real accomplishment for such a new outfit.

Adhering to the current trend for all things Jersey circa 90's is the Lars Vegas (more commonly known as one half of Detroit Swindle) remix. Going straight for the jugular with tight stabs and punchy percussion its manifesto is set out clear to see from the outset.  What makes this different from the run of garage productions currently swamping the scene is its tight pairing with the vocals.  Rather than chopping into a garbled nonsense, Glenn's vocals are allowed free reign and are used in there entirety to provide the extra musicality to move Vegas' remix into a standout weapon.  Make no mistake this will destroy a dancefloor.

Rounding up a/jus/ted show there versatility by remixing themselves, weighing in with a track brimming with ideas. Murky pads align with the tightly sequenced percussion that percolates from the outset. Pushed on by sonorus pads and a relentless deep grueling bass which provides a pivot for the track to advance into a deep, hypnotic ensemble lifted by clips of vocal, this time sounding much more jaded than on the original.  This would certainly be a gem dropped in the most smoke and strobe dens of the world!

If this form can be kept up then a/jus/ted have a very bright future ahead of them.  Grab it now!!
