After Flowey uses you to kill Toriel, he immediately absorbs her soul and gains the stats she once called her own. Now with significantly increased power, he plans to immediately put his plan into motion - And it starts with the simplest task first: getting rid of you.

This fight introduces a new mechanic, being STATUS EFFECTS. During this fight, you are permanently afflicted with RAGE, increasing your damage dealt while lowering your defensive ability, as well as completely disabling your ACT button.

At the end of this fight, Flowey is not defeated, but simply decides he's had enough fun toying with you. With the knowledge of what his plan really is, every step you take in the Underground from here on out is laced with uncertainty. You'll need to think ahead if you want a good ending, as one wrong move might just kill someone.

(Toriel's death does not affect the pacifist run, as you did not kill her.)

When I tried to leave this area, even on a No Mercy route, Papyrus stopped me and urged me to stay. For once, though, we were able to spare Papyrus, but if I attempted to kill him (after a few crashes, of course, the fog seems to have affected the games performance) he'd get a phone call just like Toriel, and leave.

The second Papyrus says his last line, a figure suddenly flashes onto my screen as the entire game crashes. I have no idea what I did wrong. I reloaded and the same thing happened. What the hell is going on?

...What just happened? When I reopened the game after the crash at the Dating Fight section, Papyrus seemed to be completely missing from his room. Most of Snowdin itself also looked completely bugged, with incorrect, garbled tiles, or areas just completely missing them altogether. Snowdin was also shadowed in complete darkness and fog until I walked into Grillby's, where a cutscene played of Sans continuing to threaten me.
Even if I killed Papyrus, nothing changed - my game froze and I ended up here.
