Parham was born in Tehran and moved to the States in the late 90's, currently based in Seattle. He started playing string instruments as a child and developed a taste for New Age and World Music. 
Parham's interest in electronic music developed during the late 80's & early 90's when the genre was gaining commercial popularity. Fascinated by the legendary Jean Michel Jarre and other electronic music pioneers, Parham's speakers & headphones were dominated by the sounds pulsating from Proton Radio, which provided heavy doses of the genre by way of DJ mixes from all around the globe. Legendary radio shows, such as John Digweed's "Transitions" became a source of inspiration for Parham. 
A life long lover of music, Parham refers to Pink Floyd, The Doors, Jimmy Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, John Digweed, Nicholas Jaar & Besvendsen as his main influences.

monotropa. brings the element of feel to his music. The focus on the sensual brings an element of depth that helps in tapping into pieces and parts that stay in hiding so we can sweat them out on the dancefloor. 

From an early age, music was a fundamental piece of his life. A realization of an infatuation clarified music production as a critical piece of his life. This was only deepened by the supportive amazing community that he has been introduced to and integrated into. 

A movement united through sound, dance, and love.

through music we can express what speaks beyond words. whether connecting in the dark depths of deep rhythms or floating in the shimmering highs of tribal grooves, freedom and acceptance are born. the joy of music comes from this connection -- the healing powers of getting lost in the sound. a fiery passion for groove and dance fuels the flame that is Pelehon.
