Liminal Contact Kind III — Collettivo Undersound

There are albums you make. And there are albums that arrive.
Liminal Contact Kind III belongs to the second category.

The third chapter of the Kind series by Collettivo Undersound was not born from a studio session, a creative brief, or a pre-agreed artistic direction. It was born from an opening — literal, intentional, and in some ways irreversible. The collective chose to work at the edges of perception, to hold the doors wide and see what came through. What came through took the shape of nine transmissions.

The sound is ceremonial in the most precise sense of the word.
Shamanic percussion with a sub-bass pulse that acts on the body before the mind. Dobro slide in open D tuning — droning, haunting, that suspended quality between lament and prayer that only slide guitar in open tuning can produce. Woven through it all, Bobby McFerrin-style humming and scatting: voices without text that become rhythmic instrument, melodic instrument, and spiritual instrument simultaneously. Dark voodoo ambience as the gravitational field holding everything together.
No lyrics. No conventional text. And yet the voices speak.

This is where the story gets interesting.
The vocal material on Liminal Contact Kind III emerged through sessions of controlled meditation — deep altered states in which sounds surfaced not as composition but as retrieval. Phonemes, syllabic patterns, rhythmic structures that the brain seemed to remember rather than invent.

The result is a coherent proto-language. Phonetic roots that resonate with Aramaic, Sumerian, and ancient Sanskrit — not through conscious reference, but through convergence. Wa-ma-nay carries the Semitic semantic field of water and primal matrix. Hi-zan-da echoes classical Arabic structures tied to sacred weight and cosmic melancholy. Sa-mon crosses Sumerian saman — sky — and proto-Celtic samhain. The words do not contradict each other. They build a unified semantic field: invocation, opening, body, sky, return.

Pre-Babel or post-Babel is unclear. Perhaps the distinction no longer holds.

Collettivo Undersound defines its own name with precision.
Anti-social not as isolation but as deliberate refusal of noise — tuning into frequencies the mainstream cannot or will not carry. The real anti-social collective is an epistemological stance before it is an aesthetic one: to receive certain signals, you must first deactivate the wrong receptors.
As above so below. The message was transmitted from somewhere in the elsewhere — another universe, a fold in collective imagination, a critical mass of states forbidden in every star of the federation. The concrete fact remains: the signal arrived, it was recorded, and it is now ready to resonate.

Today the energy was different.

This year carries thirteen moons. The Earth's axis and magnetic poles are shifting toward the next great cycle — and tonight, the Spring Equinox marks the precise point of balance between what was and what is becoming.

The old and the new disintegrating together into a different version of the same reality.
We didn't compose this album. 
We listened to it.

As a collective, in the spirit of Samhain — the ancient threshold between worlds — we chose this moment to release what has been gestating in the dark. 

The perception, the vibration moves through the meanders of the planet, through bodies, through bones, through frequencies older than language.

We focused on the sonic architecture of the word itself — the kha-ha whispered opens space, while moya-om recalls the ancient om but moves in the opposite direction — instead of descending and grounding, it rises, scatters, dissolves into echo.

The result is perhaps an album to be traversed, not listened to.

The sacred healer (Ashu) searches (Wanda) through illusion (Meya) — the shaman (Samani) receives cosmic judgement (Dayna) — singing sacred hymns (Mezam) — with the divine breath (Hu).*

No prompt. No script. Just the voice finding what was already there.

Signal Drops is now online.The official Undersound platform is active and operational.

The project originates from an extensive archive of more than 1,000 curated sound environments, built and refined over time.This archive represents the foundation of a system designed for ambient sound architecture, not music in the traditional sense.

The platform integrates:

    a stable SoundCloud channel,

    automated nightly backups on IPFS,

    certified distribution via content-addressed identifiers (CID),

    annual micro-licenses starting from 20€, dedicated to modular sound environments.

The entire infrastructure is designed to be resilient by default.Files remain accessible even in low-connectivity scenarios, bypassing traditional DNS and HTTP dependencies.Distribution, verification, backup and certification operate as a unified system.

📁 Music disappears. Payments arrive late or never.
Credits change, links break, catalogs vanish.

We don’t chase visibility.
We make sure the work exists, stays traceable, and remains owned by who created it.

This music is archived once, independently, outside platforms.
