🎸 We record with home‑made instruments: old guitars from Texas 🤠, banjo 🎵, fiddle 🎻 — objects carrying memory. 🤖 AI is not our creator but our sculptor: it shapes the sound, carves it, makes it unique.

🔥 Reggae hypnotizes us. It is the rhythm that allows us to summon 🪄, to bind spells and feelings 💫, to call the right energy ⚡. The one that vibrates. The one that responds.

📦 This album has been in the drawers for years. Now it is time to open them 🗝️. 🌍 MMF and Mirko speak seven languages 🗣️, and for us it is natural to create in Italian 🇮🇹, Creole 🌴, German 🇩🇪, and English 🇬🇧. Because language is not just speech — it is sound 🎤, form 🌀, vibration 🌊.

💚 Creole fascinates us: that “mumble bumble” accent scattered across the waves 🌊, making everything more real, more profound. It is vital. It is transmission.

🎶 De Cimolais a Ert – Papa Boo Loo

✨ This is not a simple album. It begins with two shamanic drum pieces, BPM 176, double kick. But the structure itself is a spell:

    🔺 Triple beat (3/4): opens perception.

    🔹 Trance groove (6/8): frame drums and hand percussion.

    🔸 Powerful cycle (9/8): the door to the spirits.

The drum opens the ceremony, the door swings wide, and the dance begins. From this ritual rhythm, built on Open D tuning, we recreate the magical environment to connect with our ancestors.

🪄 The Mantra

Every track is a fractal reflection of the mantra:

🌄 Baba is Ovalda, named after Mount San Osvaldo. She was my putative mother, speaking Ertano, a dialect of Ladino, very old, born in Erto, part of a magical family.

    🌿 Nena is Maddalena, her sister. We loved each other deeply, like son and mother. Tall, beautiful, green shining eyes, dark mountain skin — a woman of class and strength.

    🌙 Lehna is my daughter Lene, who died at age 11 in Milan, taken by pollution.

This album asks the world of spirits to deliver the most beautiful message to them: we never forget.
🏔️ The Place of Erto

Erto lies in Friuli Venezia Giulia, at the crossroads of three regions, yet it stands alone. Tradition says it was founded before the Roman Empire by a tribe of Cimbri women fleeing war. They found a small island in the lake and called it Eretto — “standing.”

    🔮 Refuge of prophetesses.

    🚫 Men were not welcome: violent, greedy, liars.

    🎨 Only artists were accepted: liminal beings, bridges between the realm of the dead and our world, the radio of connection.

🎤 The Production

Even though the mastering was done with Suno, we created the voices in overtuning. The producer sings with the throat technique Khoomei, perfect for this ritual sound. The result vibrates powerfully, like an ancestral call.

❤️ The Legacy

This album carries that heavy, ancient legacy. It tells my granddaughters that magic can be real — not fantasy, but memory. Memory keeps alive the magic of love.

Because at the end of the day, it is always and only a matter of love.

An anthem for the lo-fi choice.

Born in the smoky lab behind laptop cables 🔌 and recycled materials ♻️, it finds beauty in the broken and the discarded. These elements are transformed into instruments or glitches, recreating those unsettling moments of reality—but with depth, something almost beautiful, if not for the ripple on the surface that reveals the fragility of human existence 🌊.

The majority of the album is created using a unique technique where we literally blend three instruments in layers to form a sound that bridges the voices of a harmonica 🎸 and a dobro 🎻. At times, you’ll think you hear the dobro, but it shifts into the harmonica; other times, the dobro seems to merge with the voice 🎤. This shifting is our way of exploring the fluid, ever-changing nature of perception. Reality is never static; anything can change in an instant ⏳.

🌀 Ritual of Release

This album was born as a gift, dropped ahead of the producer’s birthday. No market rules, no waiting for approval chains — just the freedom to sit down on that day and hear the music breathe. Every track is both a song and a coded ritual, translating scores into prompts, rhythms into syntax, and lived memory into sound.
🧩 The Mantra Protocol

At the heart of the record lies a shared denominator: words looped like mantras, repeated across songs to open portals.

    “I tied up time, three times, six times, nine again, then I started over… dis be my freedom.”

    “I tied up de wind jus’ to feel ya breath, three times in de black moon, seven in de full moon.”

These phrases recur across multiple tracks, executed like recursive functions. Repetition becomes invocation, numbers become gateways, and freedom emerges from the loop.
🎶 Track‑by‑Track Rituals

     Always find my way to Rome ⏳ Wandering blues mantra, 3‑6‑9 loop as survival code. Gravel, dust, Tacoma frost — every verse a debug trace of exile.

Three times, six times, nine again  🌬️ Wind, sun, and time bound in mantra syntax. Hoodoo chorus repeats across songs, each invocation a function call.

I rise, I fall, I circle back 🔥 College Station exile, oysters and church bells. Freedom vs chain recursion — the loop itself asks the question.

Sista Christina rolled in RedBay 🐴 Playful chaos: saints, donkey rides, pacifiers turned devil devices. Mischief as root access, hoodoo blues as child’s daemon code.

  Bible Belt blues, holy tongues and sighs🐈 Rooftop flight vs church hysteria. Proofs rejected, freedom found in rooftop recursion. Irony protocol: prayer vs flight.

Who made the devil, and why he came for me 👹 Origin myth: horn on the forehead, shadow daemon at birth. Recursive chorus asks identity — unicorn or cursed child? Blues as vibe coding, survival as syntax.

🛠️ Beyond Control – Ritual Mastering

Collettivo Undersound doesn’t stop at composition. The mastering itself is a ritual act, executed through Bash scripting. Each .wav file is processed, sealed, and renamed with sigils, using SoX to sculpt bass, treble, compression, and gain.

This isn’t just technical polish — it’s perfection beyond control. Each track is ritualized, sealed, and stamped with its own sigil. Mastering becomes part of the myth: automation as invocation, Bash as hoodoo syntax, sound as code.
🌑 The Sonic Architecture

Every instrument is a variable in the ritual code:

    Lap Dobro slides and taps = invocation operators.

    Two guitars = call‑response threads.

    Bass = deep driver.

    Stomp box = double‑time clock pulse.

    Harmonica = error wail at emotional peaks.

    Drum machine = subtle texture daemon.

    Cello = harmonic shadow accent.

Together they compile into smoky back‑porch delta blues, hoodoo dreamscapes, surreal atmospheres between firelight and church echoes.
🕯️ Concept Kernel

This album is not about lids and pots, nor about devils in kitchens. It is about portals, frequencies, and the courage to bend rules. It is about turning lived history — Boscoreale, Pompeii, missionaries, exorcisms, moon landings — into coded sound. It is about proving that writing a score and writing code for AI are two faces of the same act of creation.
