I feel very privileged that this was the penultimate mix of 2014 for Lola. A combination of house, techno, and some ambient interludes, reflective of "Daemon" one of my favourite tracks on Soul People Music. Recorded live at home on 12/31/14 very near midnight! Enjoy. Love UTDB. x

We are very honoured to welcome onto our mix series Hamza aka “Rubsilent” hailing from Turkey, and Ben Boe’s “favourite DJ”. Having only recorded a few mixes over the last few years this true selector plays vinyl only from start to finish. 

Rubsilent tells a story with this mix digging deep into his collection, curating a selection of records he has never played before into a mix blending these with old favourites and some forgotten jams. 

“My mix was half programmed half on the fly, as If were opening the night at an intimate small club and building the mix gradually for a brief journey that shows variety of music in my collection.“

Jane Fitz took the stage twice with a B2B set this at rural 2024, and she appeared on the final day with her musical partner Jade Seatle, who co-hosts the DIY party “Night Moves” in their home, London. The final day started out rainy, but ended up with sunny skies. This set was deeply connected with such a dramatic ending. Enjoy this euphoric collection of left-field tech house gems.

Waze & Odyssey’s W&O Street Tracks present their latest release as a 4-track sampler featuring Ardalan, Tomson, Matpat and Wouter S aptly named WO013.

Nearing three years since the duo first launched the label, Street Tracks has since hosted the likes of Ejeca, Citizen, Ashworth and Lancelot. This sampler sees them introduce four burgeoning acts from across the globe, with Iran’s Ardalan, UK’s Tomson, USA’s Matpat and the Netherland’s Wouter S delivering a medley of well-produced cuts befitting of the label’s inimitable sound.

First up, Dirtybird’s Ardalan, who’s seen support from Claude Von Stroke, Eats Everything, Justin Martin and Catz N Dogz, presents a dirty bassline paired with Afro-inspired drums, vocal moans and glitchiness in ‘Do The Way’. The man behind the we_ctrl imprint, Tomson then brings a slice of soul-laden house called ‘No Complaints’ that works in hazy pads, dubbed kicks and an understated synth riff for an introspective dancefloor workout.

Known for releasing on the likes of Exploited, Body High and Derrick Carter’s Disco Edit label, Matpat’s ‘I Remember’ generates an old school vibe with its filtered hook, shuffling percussion and wailing vox. Tying it all together, Wouter S offers up dense 808 drums, lively hats and erratic samples for an energetic and percussive finale titled ‘808 Dubz’.
