Techno Breaks Series 02- Peter Paul-U Wanna Play My Sound ( 2013/9/23) "Beatport Exclusive"

First up is "Seek & Find", a collaboration with US-based producer Seth Vogt who provides the vocals on this track. A trademark crisp driving kick and snare lead the way, backed up by deep live sounding bass and complemented by a guitar-esque lead line. The overall live feel of the track sits perfectly with Seth's vocal, giving it that real summer festival feel. A dirty top line synth helps the build towards the
end, making this one a great set-closer.
If it's peak time you're after, head straight for second track "Dub Arcade", which has a greater urgency and drive throughout. A rolling bassline allows the dirtier
pulsing synth work to drive the track along towards the breakdown where new riffs and sounds take over. With some very nice hints of classic breaks thrown in as fills, this is the one to reach for when you need that extra push of energy in the club. Guaranteed party starter!

while being a lot on the road at the moment with my DJ-Live show ...i am always trying to change my tracks by adding lot's of different elements to them so they can evolve and stay fresh. I have being using the Berlin Falling pack a hell of a lot lately as there is so many cool things in it. Cool beats, cool bass and other stuff that are constantly helping me to make my tracks move forward. Really happy about this one.

Loopmasters Present "Berlin Falling" - a new sample pack with a fresh approach to the influences of  Berlins Music scene which moves away from the more minimal sounds and presents a Deep collection of chunky samples with will be appreciated by Producers of Deep House and Techno.

The pack was produced by Pablo Decoder, an influential artist who releases through his Minimal Kidz label which has enjoyed great success in recent years.

"Since I moved to Berlin i have been very influenced by the minimal vibes in every genre, from Dubstep to House. I left the 'Techno' behind a while ago but still loving the big drums and sub which I try always to keep always on my productions.

Deep house and Deep techno are right now my most interesting genres.  Labels like Frontroom, Rushhour or UK based Freerange have been on my top list for a few years and recently fell in love with all Wolf + Lamb releases.

On this sample pack I have kept a mix of different Deep and Peak Time Grooves and also added some different analog textures." - Pablo Decoder

"Battlefield" kick things off with instant energy from a big rolling break while atmospheric synths create some tension. A deep pulsing bassline rolls throughout while the halfway point sees the introduction of some video game-esque scorching synth lead work. Pure dance floor heat!

"Olympus" brings up the rear with Under This in a tech-funk mood. The kick and snare provide the pump and snap, while side-chained synths take care of the bottom end. A massive switch in the beats alongside a lead line that could easily have been an 80s TV theme tune, keep strings interesting. In fact you're kept continually guessing which direction you're being taken in throughout that track, right to the bitter end.

We're back with the boys from Latvia for our 73rd iBreaks release. Under This give us a double A-side showing two different sides of their production stylings.

"Let Yourself Go" leads the way, and there's no messing about - it's straight in with a big rolling breakbeat, a throbbing low end bassline, and a pulsing, growling, metallic synth that really sets the tone of what to expect. A switch up in the bassline after the halfway point raises the energy and makes this one pure peak time.

In stark contrast, the Under This boys flex their deeper, groovier muscles on "Attraction" which is built around a Nile Rodgers flavoured guitar riff over speaker busting beats and bass. The addition of a female vocal lifts the vibe, rounding off this disco breaks tune to a tee.
