Originally released between 1995 and 1999 on his green imprint, 'green trax' is steve o'sullivan's signature take on minimal techno. The album on trip is a compilation of best works with several previously unreleased tracks that steve found on data tapes in his archive.

The original first came out in 2003 on Hardgroove sister label 'Ingoma', then a new mix from Ben appeared 10 years later with a firing remix from KiNK but this intense acid version never saw the light of day, until now!

Photosensitive epilepsy was brought to public attention in late 1997 when the Pokémon episode "Computer Soldier Porygon" was broadcast in Japan, showing a sequence of flashing images that triggered seizures simultaneously in hundreds of susceptible viewers.

I'd like to dedicate this track for that 685 (310 boys, 375 girls) who got epilepsy attack on 16. december 1997, because of this anime cartoon.

I hope you are all fine and you all listen hard-techno already! :D

Opener DTW 2 LAX V1 pairs a pitching sequence with dry drums and the careful arrangement of a pro. On the follow up, DTW 2 LAX V2 - Flores swaps out the immediacy of the 909 for a deeper 808 drum kit without any compromise on energy. On the flip The Dawn riffs on Hood-esque polyrhythms with frenetic, driven drum arrangement before closer Minimize offers a moment of psychedelic, heads-down introspection.
