Bradford DJ and producer Newsham steps out on his own with ‘Play It / Selecta’, his debut solo self-release, available now via Bandcamp. Known for his bass-heavy, club-ready sound, Newsham has already made waves in the underground scene, earning support from industry heavyweights like Marco Carola, Paco Osuna, Solardo, Bob Sinclar, and Skream. This release sees him fully in control, delivering two tracks built for the dancefloor.

Leading the charge is ‘Play It’, a fast-paced House roller with tight percussion, driving low-end, and chopped-up vocals that keep the momentum high. It’s straight to the point—no filler, just proper club energy.

On the flip, ‘Selecta’ taps into Newsham’s love for Speed Garage, bringing in deep subs, skippy drums, and weighty basslines that give it that unmistakable UKG groove. It’s dark, punchy, and primed for soundsystem pressure.

Newsham has already proven himself as part of Aderfia, the Bradford-based duo known for their high-energy sets and sharp, groove-driven productions. With releases on respected underground labels like FREAK, Aderfia have been steadily building a reputation across the UK scene. Now, with ‘Play It / Selecta’, Newsham makes his mark as a solo artist, cutting out the middleman and keeping things raw, independent, and club-focused.

Mark Reeve keeps raising the bar. His new two-tracker on Monika Kruse’s Terminal M shows why he remains one of techno’s most reliable heavy hitters. The ‘Give It Back’ EP arrives with two focused club weapons, the title track and today’s premiere, ‘Beats For Days’.

You hear Reeve’s trademark control from the first kick. The groove hits with purpose. The percussion stays tight. The low end pushes forward with a dark pulse that keeps you locked in. It feels built for big rooms with real sound systems. The kind of track that finds its place at Awakenings or Time Warp and stays there.

‘Beats For Days’ brings a sharper, more urgent feel than ‘Give It Back’. The rhythm moves quicker. The mood sits heavier. It creates a strong contrast within the EP, giving the whole release a sense of shape that DJs can work with across longer sets.

Reeve’s history explains the weight behind this music. He left England for Germany more than fifteen years ago to be closer to the underground he loved. Sven Väth’s support opened the door to key imprints including Drumcode, Afterlife, Cocoon and Soma. Collaborations with Adam Beyer, Tale of Us and Pig and Dan followed, each one adding depth to his catalogue.

His DJ sets carry that same clarity. Rooms like Gashouder, Space Ibiza, Rex Club Paris and Fabrik Madrid have all felt the impact of his sound. He plays with intent. Every transition makes sense. Every track lands with force.

‘Beats For Days’ captures that approach in a tight, driving form. A proper peak time cut designed to lift the room’s energy without overcomplicating the message.

Viv Castle keeps the momentum rolling with a new premiere on Undrtone as we spotlight ‘Oh Na Na’, the standout collaboration with PEACE MAKER! from his latest V55records EP ‘Everything You’re Not’. The whole EP offers more sides to this new phase in Viv’s work. Bear Weigle adds his own flavour. The San Francisco-based artist has been shaping a profile built on nuance, groove and subtle motion. His DJ sets blend deep house, broken patterns and left-field club sounds with ease, always focusing on flow rather than big moments. That same touch comes through in ‘Lose My Mind’. You sense restraint. You sense patience. He brings texture and light detail to Micah’s harder framework, giving the track its shape and swing.

Their debut on Issues feels like a natural fit. It introduces a pairing that leans into rhythm, punch and club-ready simplicity while still holding onto detail and taste.
