The next instalment in our UndrCtrl Guest Mix series comes from legends of the UK dance scene – Shades of Rhythm. Rayan Gee, Nick Slater and Lanx have been in the game since the beginning, and their influence still cuts deep today.

Their early work – tracks like 'Sound of Eden', 'Sweet Sensation' and 'Exorcist' – defined a generation and helped shape the sound of rave in the 90s. From Peterborough basement sessions to Top of the Pops and the world’s biggest festivals, their journey has never lost momentum.

Fast forward to 2025, and they’re still pushing the energy forward.

Their UndrCtrl mix blends old-school magic with upfront firepower. It opens with 'Can You Feel It' (Prok & Fitch Remix), builds through their own remix of 'Hypnosis', and lands heavy with their remixes of 'Faith', 'Where Love Lives' and the euphoric closer, 'Tribute'. Classic vocals, updated grooves and timeless rave DNA run through every track.

Whether you caught them at The Haçienda back in the day or saw them shell it at Arcadia Glastonbury, you’ll know they never miss.

They’re also gearing up for a big one at UNDER Presents Café Mambo Ibiza on Saturday 3rd May – bringing Ibiza classics under the Nene Parkway flyover in Peterborough alongside Mark Knight, Gok Wan, Brandon Block and more. It’s a celebration of pure dance energy, and they’ll be right at the heart of it.

This mix is a reminder – the roots run deep, but the sound still evolves. Shades of Rhythm are living proof.
