RESISTANCE SESSIONS GUEST MIX #31 - by Alex Saucer

Born on the coast of Uruguay, Alexandro Guevara A.k.a. Alex Saucer grew up in a family of musicians, percussionists, and guitarists. Influenced by his father, a musician, he decided to get into DJing in 1991. With great effort, he began perfecting his skills in beatmatching, pitch riding, and time stretching, among others, achieving his first performances at private and large-scale events, most notably his participation at Creamfields 2006 (Data Center Gate). Among the artists he has accompanied in the booth are: Javier D'May (AR), Carlos Ruiz (AR), Daniela Haverbeck (CH), Anubis (AR), Diego LB (AR), Michel Lauriola (VZ), Kadro (Br), Juan Pryor, Joe Fisher, Miss Akkane, Camila Diaz, and Franky4Fingers; thus, he navigated the Buenos Aires underground techno scene. In 2019, he delved into the world of electronic production, honing his musical skills based on Ableton Live and five years of music theory and Yamaha piano performance, thus establishing his own production studio, "Kaerlanrigh Estudio."

His weekly platform, Sound Escape, has become a key space for Moroccan electronic artists, blending emerging voices with seasoned talents.
This exclusive mix for MuNcast is more than a set—it’s an offering from an artist who sees music not only as escape, but as connection.

The third edition of our ‘Undrtone Invites’ guest mix series in collaboration with Mlink Records lands with A.Tone, an emerging artist from Thessaloniki, Greece, who’s been making waves in the underground scene with his deep, minimal house sound.

A.Tone’s musical journey started young, experimenting with production in his teenage years before refining his craft through workshops, collaborations with local labels, and live performances. Now, he’s focused on developing a distinct sonic identity—one that’s understated yet impactful, blending groovy house elements with stripped-back, hypnotic minimalism.

For his Undrtone mix, A.Tone delivers an elegant, groove-led selection, featuring tracks from Traumer, Chris Stussy, Moodena, Kolter, and two of his own productions, ‘Sense of Flaw’ and ‘Greetings From Nowhere’. Expect a deep, rolling journey through rich textures, warm basslines, and subtle yet infectious rhythms.

This mix perfectly captures A.Tone’s refined approach to deep and minimal house—tight grooves, immersive atmospheres, and a flow that keeps you locked in from start to finish.

Next up in our UndrCtrl Guest Mix series is Toronto’s own Farouki, who’s been turning heads with a slick blend of old-school flavour and forward-thinking club energy.

His recent ‘Freedom To Be’ EP, out now on Stacey Pullen’s Blackflag Recordings, captures exactly what makes his sound stand out. On the A-side, the title track leans into classic hip-house vibes—tight percussion, rolling grooves, and nostalgic vocal cuts that give the whole thing a proper late-night feel. Flip it over to ‘Peeple’ and you get something a bit more hypnotic. Farouki chops and warps a vocal sample into a tight rhythm that bounces with purpose. It’s club music that knows its roots but isn’t afraid to push into new territory.

In this mix, Farouki brings the same freedom and fluidity he talks about in the studio. Expect crisp drums, subtle vocal hooks, and that blend of old and new that’s fast becoming his signature. Whether you’re in the middle of a set or winding down at home, this one’s built to keep you moving.

Farouki’s already had releases on DPE, Mood Child, Rawthentic, and Of Unsound Mind, with support from names like Marco Carola, Skream, Paco Osuna, and Stacey Pullen. But this mix shows where he’s at right now—in the zone, sharp with the selections, and stepping confidently into his sound.

The next guest in our ‘Undrtone Invites’ series with Mlink Records is Evan.Sol—a young artist from Thessaloniki with a sound well beyond his years.

He first got into electronic music as a teenager, drawn in by the scene around him and the artists playing in his city. Since then, he’s steadily built a name for himself—releasing on multiple labels, getting involved in local projects, and landing top positions on electronic music platforms with some of his recent releases.

For this mix, Evan.Sol keeps things tight and minimal. Expect low-end pressure, rolling drums, and just the right amount of tension. He weaves in two of his own productions—‘Real Opportunities’ and ‘From a Dark Past’—alongside tracks from Ricardo Villalobos, Vinyl Speed Adjust, Constratti, and A.Tone.

This is a proper underground session—raw, deep and focused, with no need for big drops or flashy transitions. Just solid selections and a clear vision.
