VSK is an italian dj/producer based in Rome. Beside djing in the capital, in 2007 decided get into music production attending a course sound engineers, having the chance to meet Ken Karter, and working with him for almost two years at the studio ”Mastering Unlimited”. After sharing the decks with Conrad Van Orton at “Fluid” parties, he became a resident DJ at Goa Club in Rome, where a good feeling with the public grew. Since then VSK started working in a Recording Studio as a professional audio engineer, dealing with productions for movies and television. In 2010, together with Conrad Van Orton, finally started a project which they were planning since years before: Consumer Recreation Services Recordings.

TF #065: Nima Khak [SAND I H-Productions I Drumcode] - Sweden

Nima Khak - Dj and Producer, born in Iran but grew up in Stockholm, Sweden with the rich flora of prolific labels coloring the soundscape of his productions. Today he is a fixed point in Stockholms nightlife with a long standing residency at Gallery 2.35:1 Berns. He also manages the clubs in-house label 1:53.2.
His productions are raw, analogue and deep techno with the sight set firmly on the dance floor. With releases on labels like H-Productions, ISL and productions together with Jesper Dahlbäck and Cari Lekebusch he has been pinned as one to keep an eye on from the new generation of Swedes.

In 2014 Nima Khak started the label Sand, which focuses on releasing his own productions.

The relentless stride of Northern Electronics can be put down to the attitudes of its owners, Anthony Linell and Jonas Rönnberg. Their collaborative project, Ulwhednar, has been shapeshifting at the centre of the label since its inception, and has captured their hard line electronics in its many guises.

Following on from 2017's 'Modern Silver', their new album reprises the intensity by grappling with its themes from a refreshed perspective. Crossing Norrland, the northernmost part of Sweden, and graffiti incidents and exploits, 'Razor Mesh Fencing' tracks the fervour of operations left undercover with blistering rhythmic pieces.

With only brief moments of respite on 'Razor Mesh Fencing' its stamina perpetually keeps us on the edge. Winding around its paths, our escape is in its adrenal crescendo.

Samuel　

Samuel, born in Amsterdam, but currently based in Antwerp has been involved in the techno scene for several years. The Dutch DJ joined Monument first as a writer in 2017, which he was eager to do due to his increased passion for techno and ambient music over the years. Not much later he also picked up the mantle of MNMT’s head of podcast. Sam performed his very first DJ gig In June of 2019 at MNMT Festival, with a 2-hour melancholic ambient mix as the opening of the final day of the festival, to which he was overwhelmed with all the positive feedback. This gig motivated him to focus more and more on his development as a DJ. Having been involved with the scene for several years, Sam is focussing more and more on his own DJing and is honoured to have been invited to make Undulate’s first podcast mix

予想以上に評判がよくこれをキッカケにDJに熱心をもちはじめる。
 DJにフォーカスしている今 Undulateのポッドキャストに初フィーチャリングされ光栄に思っている。

Let music breathe, resonate with life surroundings in concrete jungle. Taku Hirayama has been on decks since 2000. Hailing from Fukuoka, south Japan, now based in Hong Kong for over a decade. By mixing various style of music, expanding interpretation of dance music with his own taste and careful decision. Keeps updating himself with his own party "Junktion" which connects numbers of DJ’s DJs and upcoming hidden talents across the globe. Himself also travels from the industrial city to various inspirational dancefloors in the world.
When his favourite trippy groove is on control, music can be spread smoothly and extensively. It grows certain kind of positive energy towards to sunrise. Besides holding crowds on dancefloor, he keeps trying to make waves in and out with surprise. Even if he plays deep mind bending sound, or gentle hypnotic sound, or even old school gems, there is deep connection with control and release, consistent groove and constant waves in his set.


90年代後半の地元福岡でのパーティー体験を機にDJを始め、現在まで約20年に渡って活動を続けている。テクノやハウスといったエレクトロニックミュージックを軸に、エクスペリメンタルな音や多彩なリズム、過去に影響を受けて来た新旧様々な音楽を織り交ぜ、ダンスミュージックを自由に解釈。またインダストリアルシティや旅からのインスピレーションも重ねながら独自のトリッピーグルーヴの探求を続けている。2013年より自身でオーガナイズを続けるパーティー “Junktion” においても、有名無名問わず世界中の感度の高いアーティスト達と音の交差を繰り返しながら、音楽観を常にアップデートしている。香港での活動は10年を超え、シーンが成熟して来ているアジア・中国圏、そしてヨーロッパや海外各地のパーティーやフェスティバルなど多様なダンスフロアでプレイ経験を重ねる。

Tatsuoki (Broad/JP)

He started his DJ career in April 2011. He considers his music as an object in three dimensions. He always has his own logical thinking and emphasizes deep sounds includes Techno. He plays quality genre-less music which is the best match with the dance floor and his play style gets evaluation. Today he became one of the most promising DJs in the scene. Tatsuoki launched his own party Broad at Daikanyama AIR in November 2012 which is regularly held at Contact today, and it has been successful every time with the style of welcoming artists from diverse fields, from domestic to international.
Tatsuoki released his podcast from Dino Sabatini’s Outis Music in Italy in March 2016, and also from Vitamin Cubes in Eastern Europe Georgia in 2017. He is continuously showing his further success.

子供の頃は田園地帯で生まれ育ち、上京後の2011年4月より現場でのDJをスタートさせる。音楽を三次元に在る1つの物体として捉え、彼独自の論理的な思考を常に持ち、フロアを読みながら最適なチューニングを心掛ける。さらにその中で自由奔放さを大いに出してくるプレイスタイルは定評があり、今後期待されるDJの1人だ。2012年11月に代官山AIRでスタートした彼が主宰を手掛けるBroadは、現在もContactにて開催を続けており、海外と国内の多方面からアーティストを迎える雑食スタイルで毎回盛況を得ている。
2016年3月にDino Sabatini主宰イタリアのOutis Musicを皮切りに、2017年に東欧ジョージア、2018年はドイツと韓国からPodcastをリリースし、更には現地でプレイもする等の活躍を見せている。

Hailing from Okinawa, now-Tokyo-based producer IORI once cut his teeth as an assistant for David Mancuso’s revered party, The Loft, in New York City, where he learnt a meticulous sonic mentality from his audiophile mentor. This permeates his carefully-handled arrangements, which have helped make his name and define a series of spacey, atmospheric originals and remixes for proponent imprints like Phonica and Prologue to name but a few.
Since his striking 2009 debut, Galaxy, which took its cue from Basic Channel and Manuel Gottsching, the Japanese producer has developed an immensely expressive dubbed-out sound in his own right. The first culmination of that is 2012’s excellent
Nexus album for Bitta, a label owned by Far Eastern rising star DJ Nobu, seeing his ambient productions sit nicely with his hypnotic dance tunes.
Two year stay in Berlin in early 2010s helped IORI gain a foothold in the international stage. He has since traveled across Europe, validating his characteristic meditative techno set, which is just the tip of his huge musical iceberg that ranges from low-slung house to leftfield oddballs. Despite his return to Japan in 2015, his presence remains strongly felt through frequent European tours.
2016 saw IORI release the Cold Radiance album, where his sci-fi ambient side grew fully- fledged. For an artist that has produced immersive and spacious pieces, it was a logical continuation of his extensive career as a producer. Eschewing the club-orientated perspective, it certainly proved IORI’s expressional depth and does justice to his artistic intention, his acute ears for spellbinding details standing out in sharp relief, which raised expectations of his promising future. Music has been a red thread throughout his life for as long as he can remember and he started producing techno in his early teenage years. Besides his work as sound designer and a producer, he recently increased his focus on dj-ing. NX1 is the duo consisting of @surit and Samot (@tomas-b), artists both based out of Barcelona. Formed at the end of 2011 together with his @nexe-records label, they have devoted themselves to a trademark sonic imprint that moves between heavy memories of classic techno to more mental and psychedelic spaces in contemporary sound design. The project contain futuristic aspects propelling themselves forward, while also taking into consideration and expressing modern challenges.

Today they are stablished artists with great contributions on platforms like Mord, Leyla Records, Semantica, BITE and more.

TechnoTrippin' Podcast 086 mixed by Kai Galactic (JAP).

Kai Galactic is Techno DJ in Tokyo. He learns under the influence of father about Galaxy for the childhood period, and it becomes the reason of DJ name and his DJ play. Hiroyuki met club music for school days and started his DJ career in small county town.He moves the base in Tokyo and does DJ in many clubs.
Kai Galactic launched his own party FUSION at VENT.
He heaps up night of Tokyo. He selects music in Deep Techno which can always dance pleasantly and get into the world of the music. Kai Galactic pursues that he produces space reminding of Galaxy.
He release Mix from Japan and Germany and Italian Podcast.It is expectation for his future achievement.
