夏の庭人の居ぬ間に走り広がる
日蔭を避けて絡みつく
石の壁に柱に
噴水に水盤に
目くばせ謀（はかりごと）
忍び笑い
刃は刃引きに

Summer garden.
Spreading while no one is around.
Avoiding the shade, entwining.
On stone walls, pillars, fountains, and water basins.
Winking. Plotting.
Smiling secretly.
Dulling the sharpness of the blade.
