Thanks so much to Gautam for working with me on this challenging piece.

This piece began with my desire to create random synthetic percussion sounds. As I toyed with the filters, gradually some usable sounds emerged.  The resulting noises sounded like Carnatic (south indian) classical percussion to me - like the complex Carnatic percussion compositions I have become so fond of. After developing this synthetic percussion track, I contacted my friend Gautam, who is an amazing performer of classical Indian music to see if he could enhance the track melodically.  Gautam innately understood the piece, and with his solo, enhanced it far beyond my hopes. To complete the piece, some drones and voices were added in the final mix. We hope you enjoy the result.
