YUUL KIN  en el idioma maya, significa rayo y sol, el cual transmite la transcendencia del día. El rayo de sol indica el inicio, siendo una guía para poder encontrar nuestro camino a través de la música.
La música es un idioma universal, nos permite contar historias mediante un lenguaje que a todos nos hace viajar y sentir cada momento en función a la transición de los sonidos, el presente.  

Este EP representa el paso cenital que nos acompaña en nuestro paso por la armonía solar y así mismo nos muestra que vamos de camino al futuro sin perder nuestras raíces.

YUUL KIN in the Mayan language, means ray and sun, which transmits the transcendence of the day. The sunbeam indicates the beginning, being a guide to find our way through music.
Music is a universal language, it allows us to tell stories through a language that makes us all travel and feel each moment based on the transition of sounds, the present. This EP represents the zenithal passage that accompanies us in our passage through solar harmony and likewise shows us that we are on our way to the future without losing our roots.

It's springtime at last; and as the bluebells push your blues aside, so North Of The Island returns with a beatific balm for your soul - four tracks of green house destined for blue skies and a golden sunrise. The first NOTI release since 2022, the 'Earth Positive EP' finds Neil Diablo at one with the vernal vibrations, his Balearic alias sprouting in new directions to incorporate the textures and tones of 90s clubland, hinting at the heady sound of his sweeping DJ sets. 

Stretching his legs from the off, Neil invites us on an early morning walk through the dewy pads and hazy stabs of "Etherealness", its bassline pressure and chirruping hats providing purpose as we stride past the post-party crowd. An aspirate flute floats from the distance, piercing the mist and pulling a propulsive bassline in its wake, a gateway to Goa or The Garden. 

Lush with medicated synth swells and woody melodies "Earth Positive" sets sun salutations to a snapping electro beat before blooming into a festival of cascading keys and FM horns - this is as Balearic as a roached Bianco Y Negro sleeve and a plasterer's pony tail. 

I've never been to "Fantacity" but based on this introduction I'd imagine it's equidistant from Belfast and Sheffield, and just the sort of place you should be looking to move to. Fluffy little clouds of dopamine-laced pads look down on the unhurried chug of hissing hats and restrained breakbeats as the bleeps, vamps and whistles echo rave's past while facing the future with a smile. When it's time for siesta, harness the healing of the hypnagogic beatless blend and wave your cares away.

A digital delight, available to own via Bandcamp or savour over streaming, this is just the start of a fertile year for North Of The Island.

Para el resto que estamos leyendo esto y queriendo estar en ese lugar de inmenso poder. Hemos programado especialmente para hoy un nuevo release para que así también nos conectemos sin importar el lugar físico que estemos.
