NDRX is a Georgian electronic music scene activist and resident DJ of renowned techno club BASSIANI. The journey of a compassionate defender of club culture’s true values starts back in the mid-2000s, when, joined by teenage peers, he starts throwing impromptu raves in the streets of Tbilisi. "We Need More Clubs in Georgia'' becomes a motto of then-newbie young DJs, who were greeted by clumsy gazes and disdain by the passers-by. Nevertheless, the crave for dancing and playing music encouraged them to start throwing parties during the times when not much was happening in the city. Following years sees enthusiastic NDRX founding Stare at DJ (2012-2015), a music series which contributed to the development of the local scene for years. His next venture, 11TH Floor (2015) aimed to unite the group of like-minded electronic music artists. "Other artists joined me on the 11th floor, and something like a commune was created." NDRX’s dedication to the DJ school has encouraged a staggering wave of new DJs and producers, who fill the clubs both home and worldwide nowadays. Since 2016, NDRX proudly joins BASSIANI, a prominent techno institution which revolutionized Georgian club culture and left its mark on the electronic music movements globally. Serving as an underground basis for resistant and subversive youth culture,BASSIANI was notoriously raided by the state armed forces in 2018, prompting tens of thousands of dancers to take to the streets in protest. NDRX, no stranger to street raves, helmed the boisterous task of playing for the protest crowd joined by the artists under the new motto, "We Dance Together, We Fight Together." The state stepped back, and the club eventually reopened next weekend. In the last couple of years, NDRX stands as an embraced guest of one of the most celebrated dancefloors worldwide: Berlin’s Berghainl, Amsterdam’s ADE, De School and Vault Sessions; Exit Festival Serbia; Sonar Barcelona; Basement NYC; ODD São Paulo; Fast Forward Copenhagen; Robert Johnson Frankfurt; and Kremwerk Seattle, to name a few; a frisky explorer of unapologetic queer collectives Herrensauna (Berlin); Spielraum (Amsterdam); and Tbilisi’s own Horoom Nights. Focusing solely on DJing, NDRX’s sets bring a scrutinizingly selected and masterfully put-together experience with technical prowess from his spectacular music collection. His sets create the unyielding spirit of the dancefloor, a gutsy passion that makes him the tour de force of the Georgian electronic music scene.

ALLPA PURUMA, He was born on April 6, 1995 in the suburbs of Buenos Aires. He is a musician, producer and composer. His first approach to electronic music was at the age of 11, discovering artists such as Chemical Brother, Oliver Huntemann, Cirez D among others. Over time, he expanded his musical spectrum, being influenced by bands such as Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Black Sabbath, and Pink Floyd. Finding inspiration in psychedelic music and motivated by his friends, he acquired his first musical instrument, which would allow him to begin a stage of sound experimentation that he still carries out. Without prejudices and with the constant need to connect with music, he embarks on a journey, where he consolidates his beats playing percussion and other instruments such as djembe, didgeridoo, zicus, charango. Upon his return to Argentina, he once again became involved with electronic music, focusing his attention on Techno, a genre that encouraged him to take music production classes and without leaving aside his native instruments, incorporating drum machines and synthesizers.

Concrete Tbilisi Podcast 101 - Allpa Puruma

Born in France, and now based in Berlin since 7 years, has been honing his DJing craft for a decade now.
An avid vinyl collector and techno and house enthusiast, his DJ sets and tracks combine raw, dark and deep elements with straightforward grooves reminiscent of the dark winter closings of Berlin techno clubs.
He has been part of the founding team of Château Perché Festival in 2015 and he is resident DJ at the Château Perché Festival, and also host a monthly radio show on Keep It Radio Berlin.
The radio show has been designed to create sonic atmospheres to allow some escape to the listener, some soundscape.

The French born artist has been a prominent figure in the techno scene since his debut in 2014 on the dutch imprint Mord and is responsible for some of the most memorable techno tracks of the past decade. 

“Ive known Seb since our beginnings in the music scene. We started releasing music almost at the same time through our beloved Mord. Played shows together and enjoyed some nice drinking nights also. 
So it’s more than special for me to have him as a guest in our series. A privilege to say the least. He is one of the few artists that I greatly respect cause he is always staying true to his vision and sound no matter what and also I believe that he is one of the greatest and most original DJ’s out there. Will let you listen for yourselves but if you’ve ever caught him in one of his gigs, you know this one is a must listen.”
