as I mainly post kinda deep house sets here, but some people heard me playing more techy at places like Panorama Bar, Kater Holzig or especially when I play long sessions, I thought i surprise you this time with a rather more tech house set and it wouldn't be a phonique set if there weren't those warm moments after some long driving techy grooves.

It's been almost two decades since Iulian Cazan began his journey in Romania's underground scene. As the millennium came and Romania was transforming after communist rule, Iulian's formative years were in full swing. Wether it was throwing mobile raves, spinning all night for his residency at 'Chill Out' in his home town of Sibiu, or setting up one of the first ever record stores - 'Electrique Boutique' in his home country.. his desire to inspire others with the power of music knew no bounds. Now a veteran selector in his native Romania and having the chance to perform across the globe under his Jay Bliss alias, Iulian continues to draw on the experience of those early years. As a producer, his artistry has featured on the like's of All Inn Records, 20/20 Vision Recordings & Fear of Flying Record Label, as well as the the mighty @Stomping_Grounds imprint which he curates alongside its sub label @VadeMecumrec. Exploring the sounds and experimental spaces between House and Techno.

This deeply personal journey, pulled from the heart of Jay's own vinyl collection, illustrates his long lasting love affair with music.
