Found this on an old drive.  Made in June 2004, right around the time I met the lovely lady who became my wife.  No idea what gear was used...probably a Micro Modular, a JP-6, and some plugins.

On the Nord G2 a shift register passes random values to 4 different oscillators, each of which scales the values to a few different notes.  Everything gets summed together and sent through one filter before being launched into (Eventide) Space. The Pro~One chugs along via its internal sequencer. The JD-800 is triggered by an infinitely variable ten stage sequencer I call "my hands".

Someone at Gearslutz asked if the JD-800 could get weirder or darker than the usual "new age dolphin pads" (best description ever).  I quickly made this to try and show and that it could...but maybe I'm wrong.  I'm probably wrong.  Sorry.  Dolphins.

Here come dots

Inspired by Don Solaris, this is a recording of a patch on the Ensoniq DP/4 fx processor that is generating sound on its own.  Nothing is plugged in to the inputs...all you hear is DP/4.  I thought it seemed like a good way to get to know the DP/4, and it definitely was.

I used a 1 source configuration with 4 algorithms connected in series.  The chain is Signal Gen  -  EQ-Phaser-DDL -  DDL w/LFO -  Hall Reverb.  I'm changing the level of the noise generator every now and then to excite the phaser, but other than that this patch is just doing its own thing.
