''Crafted in the style of old school dancehall clashing, 'Veteran' is a mixture of classic heavyweight dancehall lyrics and a new school flow. The tune is set to be a timeless banger aiming to keep the dancehall massive rocking and swinging day and night. Inspired by the riddim and sounds of Blind Prophet, Clinton Sly is ready to run the sound system! Slowing down the tempo to 120bpm, Blind Prophet delivers a heavy dose of dubwise for the B-side. 'Hugh Dub' starts off with a mutated vocal and quickly drops into a tuff steppers riddim. A distorted bassline and thumping kick drive the track. Ed West & Galak Spiritual - No Diamonds (RSD Remix)

One of the biggest ever UK posse cuts, "Veterans" lines up 20 of some of the greatest UK MC's to grace the mic - from Roots Manuva, Rodney P and Ragga Twins, to Blak Twang, Navigator and Ty, who sadly passed earlier this year - the number of legends on this track is truly mondblowing. The original splashed down last year with a killer video showing how it all came together. So what better to do then give the track some remixes?

First up, US jungle don Liondub and Jah Boogs drop a heavy drum and bass monster, riffing on the classic bassline of the original. Next, original broken beat don and Bugz In The Attic mainstay Daz-I-Kue gives us a bruk-bashment flavour, sure to turn the heat up in any dance. Tru-Thoughts own Wrongtom goes for a rub-a-dub spin echoing a classic riddim and bassline, whilst label boss Shepdog dusts off his old mash-up skills for a soundclash of classic reggae and dancehall riddims (exclusive to Bandcamp)

Taken from the hugely popular "Pack Up And Run" album released earlier this year, Glasgow based producer Escape Roots delivers another dubwise single including a couple of wicked remixes. Featuring Moscow's finest mic-controller Tenor Youthman who brings a lovers rock vibe to the track in his classic hill & gully rider style.

Remixes come from Somah, who is constantly making waves with releases on Deep Medi and Scrubadub. He delivers a deep and spacious 140 flip with lots of reverbs, horns and tuff basslines! Scotland's Samson Sounds then take the track to another level with a dancehall influenced version using chopped up vocals and trappy hihats to create something very fresh - both essential weapons for any selector!
