every thursday I run along the beach from bar to merewether in newcastle & after I finish I wade out into the ocean to cool down by floating in a giant channel pool alongside the sand bar.

the vocal chant section " breathe & float... let the cool embrace of the ocean hold you" came to me while floating there one afternoon

from Sydney College Of The Arts in 1997 and has been exhibiting paintings and creating sound installations in
Sydney and in regional Australia for the last 25 years. EMK works sculpturally with reclaimed and recycled
materials; and produces public art events and projects with youth groups and architects. EMKs paintings and
Audio Composi-tions could be described as intricate, flatly simple homogenizations that are studies of
alternative space and time, inner-landscapes that manoeuvre between Documentry and Science Fiction.
EMK lives in Killabakh on the mid north coast in NSW and has been owner-building a home studio from upcycled
