Nikko.Z's Dopamine White rounds out the month of April by welcoming Electric Dada to the label for their debut single. Made up of German artists Jan de Vice and JP Silence, the Electric Dada alias was revealed to the world in 2020. The duo's progressive style was immediately recognized for its emotive qualities and strong dancefloor sensibility. A transcendent sound which would see them go on to release key projects via Univack and Massive Harmony Records, while also earning the praise of the underground's tastemakers. Now, presenting their first single of 2023, Electric Dada debuts on Dopamine White with ‘Liquid Dope Skin', alongside a remix from Paul Deep.

Looking to diversify their portfolio further, Electric Dada calls on the vocal talents of Mawine. Together the trio craft a sweeping sonic experience all their own, where full key changing grooves and driving percussion set the course for emotive arps and balmy atmospheres. Mawine's breathy wails morph into boisterous chants making for a unique balance of elegance and power, while astral stabs and retro acid lines propel the track to an epic finale.

The release concludes with Paul Deep making his return on the label with the lone interpretation of 'Liquid Dope Skin'. With a career that spans the better part of a decade, the Argentinean artist has compiled an impressive resume along the way, landing releases via All Day I Dream, Tale & Tone, The Soundgarden and Sudbeat. World class DJs Lee Burridge, Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren have all been steadfast supporters of Paul's sound, which often sits in the creative space between progressive and organic house. Dopamine Music has also been a regular landing spot for the Buenos Aires resident, with five appearances since making his label debut in 2017. Now, following a remix of ‘Cycles' by fellow countryman Juan Deminicis, Paul makes a welcome return to Dopamine with a heady take on ‘Liquid Dope Skin'. Rather than burst into a dancefloor whirlwind or electronic symphony, Paul's remix evokes its emotions through slow burn repetition, dodging expectations and emphasizing its conceptual charm; as crunchy rhythms, striking chord stabs and hypnagogic synths unveil a semi-conscious dreamland, before the Argentine's progressive attitude reveals itself during a final of tension filled noise, deconstructed vocals and cosmic arps. A powerful interpretation from Paul Deep, which rounds out an excellent label debut for Electric Dada, an artist duo who is set to emerge further as 2023 unfolds.

Our 3rd Storytellers compilation with super-talented producers is here. Last year we had compilation number 01 and in March 2023, we had series number 02 completed by SANI NIMS from Sri Lanka.

We must share with you guys, that 90% of this compilation is music made by producers from Sri Lanka. Progressive house music has gained popularity in Sri Lanka's club scene in recent years. The progressive scene, characterized by its melodic and atmospheric sound, has found a dedicated following among young music enthusiasts. Local DJs, producers and promoters have also emerged, contributing to the growth of the progressive house music scene in the country. The core elements of this compilation are melodic and atmospheric sound, complex chord progressions, and a focus on building tension and creating a journey-like experience. This compilation shows all talent and music passion that we have in Sri Lanka now.

I have the pleasure of hosting Paul Losev , label owner of his brand new label called Nature Calls, an extremely talented producer & DJ and also a great friend of mine, for my this show "LUX CAST" EP 5. Paul has been making waves in the electronic music scene for the past couple of years with his organic house style music. His tracks and remixes have been released on esteemed labels listed below. Paul is one of the fast-rising organic house star and is one of my personal favourite as well.


BIO:
Paul Losev is a DJ and producer who’s talents are truly incomparable. Finding a love for music at the young age of 6, has made music his main focus and his passion is apparent through the energy he puts into his craft.
Paul’s unique approach to music production truly separates him from other curators and displays to listeners why he’s continuing to accomplish feats in the music industry. Now based in Miami, Paul has been creating more and more sonically intoxicating organic house tracks for music lovers.
Recently released his latest projects entitled ‘Cinèal’, ‘Can’t Let You Go’, ‘Before & After’ in which he solidifies his place as a staple in the electronic music scene. Adding this to his incredible bootlegs of Nirvana, Fink, Rose Betts and Chicane’s classic ‘Saltwater’ and tracks like ‘Last Seconds’ and ‘Brain Loved’, 01. it looks like Paul will have a long, successful career ahead of him.
