We are happy to welcome yet another new face to our ever growing artist roster, though Rico Puestel is definitely not an unknown name for fans of electronic music! Rico is - amongst many other things - a trained pianist, a self-trained guitarist, a drummer, a musicologist, a Zappa enthusiast, a struggler, a neurotic, a martyr of art and, most-notably: A genuine, perpetually driven music producer! Gregor has been a fan of Rico´s music for years, and - being blown off his socks by his recently released full length album Obi Thine Xi - had to ask Rico for some original music to be released on Break New Soil. Et voila: „Afar“ landed in our mailbox like a beacon of light in these dark times for club culture! On top of the three outstanding original tracks, we couldn´t be happier to have Alexander Kowalski working his magic on „Axioms". Once again, Alexander delivered an example to underline his status of being one of the most in-demand producers in the realm of modern electronic music! The experienced and talented artist Paul Thomas @djpaulthomas , comes to Univack for his first time, to present his 'Lumineux', an original track which is accompanied by one remix by Serious Dances and another one by Integral Bread.

Paul Thomas is one of the most important and influential people in the Progressive House scene for the last years, not only for his work as producer and Dj, but also for his work as owner in major labels like UV and UV Noir.  His style is very versatile, and we can find his productions in genres like Progressive House, Trance, Techno, Tech-House, among others, but this time with this 'Lumineux' we can discover his deepest and most organic house face.

Klangstrom is a creature rarely spotted outside the wind-swept city at the Baltic Sea, despite having produced some of the best downbeat tracks you’ve probably never heard of. Featuring rusty guitar samples and subtle synth lines, his music combines elements of trance, hiphop and folklore, culminating in an emotional, outward looking and physical sound.

Mesoamerica was unified by a commonly held, if not unified, system of spiritual practice. Mesoamerican spirituality possessed a cosmology that saw the visible world as multitiered, consisting of the Above Realm of the heavens; the middle Earthly Realm, the home of living humanity; and the watery Beneath Realm of the dead and thus of the ancestors. 

Within this layered cosmic model, directionality and coloration played pivotal roles. Each cosmic layer possessed its own deities, and they were linked by an axis-mundi that could take the form of a world tree or mountain, or a temple or sacred fire. 

At times this axis mundi could assume the personified form of an important spiritual practitioner. The deities and supernatural entities that inhabited these realms could and often did cross the three cosmic realms.
