Argentinian superstar Mariano Mellino returns to Sprout with the impressive El Beso De La Luna EP featuring solid remix support from D-Nox & Beckers to open our 2023 account.

Drawing influence from the progressive pioneers, Buenos Aires native Mariano Mellino has built an extensive back catalogue of heaters across an awe-inspiring selection of labels including Balance, Sudbeat and Hope Recordings. Currently in the midst of a south american tour, his incendiary sets are finding fans new and old standing together.

In original form, 'El Beso De La Luna' is an upbeat airy soundscape track with bags of personality and creativity that quickly earworms into your subconscious for days. Evocative and highly emotionally charged its peak Mellino as only he can do. The Deep Mix shows Mariano's darker, percussive side to perfection.

Dubby and hypnotic, it works just as well on early floors as it does at 6am as the sun rises on the rave faithful locked into the groove with shamanic intent. Label heads D-Nox & Beckers add their own unique teutonic charm on the remix, emphasising the bassline and reimaginiing the hooky arps more electronic creating a wildly contrasting feel that mirrors their good friends original idea to perfection.

Integral Bread again shows how difficult it's to classify his music style, creating two very different tracks, with resources inspired by various genres, which also draws on the different styles of his mates.

'Memories' (feat. Mihalyz) is a House piece (sometimes Progressive, sometimes Melodic) that captivates with its evocative and nostalgic sequences, arpeggios, and elements, that take us through different moods throughout its entire journey. 

'Rust Stain' (feat. Fonome) is a hypnotic, darker, and more minimalist track, with a slinky groove, and acid & grating elements. Progressive House, Melodic Techno, Minimal Techno, Electronica? Who knows, just worry about dancing.

Tash's Movement Limited rounds out the month of March by welcoming Blu Attic to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from India, Aniket Jain aka Blu Attic has quickly emerged from his country's electronic music underground.
