Californian producer Taylan @musicbytaylan presents ‘Nomads’, a three-track work that captures the most elegant and profound essence of contemporary Progressive House. Rising out of Argentina's electronic underground and making his much anticipated Replug debut is Ivan Aliaga. Hailing from the talent-rich region of Cordoba, Ivan's musical palate takes reference from the progressive genre's vast spectrum; in turn creating an authentic voice that is discernibly his own. Noted for his attention to detail, tough kick drums and electric design quality, Ivan's craft shines through vividly, making each one of his creations an exhilarating experience. On the strength of releases via Mango Alley, Meanwhile, Or Two Strangers and The Soundgarden, Ivan has earned the praise of genre trendsetters Cid Inc, Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed and more. Now, following his latest Mango Alley vehicle ‘Blue Shade', Ivan makes his Replug debut with a two-track showcase entitled ‘Lonely World'.

The EP's title selection ‘Lonely World' sets the tone with a remarkable display of rhythm and musicality. Tight, compact and bursting with ultrasonic energies, it's a creation built around meditative melodies and temperate harmonies. There's a strong sense of cruising across the first movement, one that allows the listener to relish in Ivan's rippling grooves and orbiting effects, in turn perfectly setting up a series of poignant chord changes and processed piano's which carry energy into the main break. Ivan's craftsmanship shines across the interlude, with effervescent phrasing and fuzzed out synth swagger cleverly coaxing, eventually revealing a pixie-like lead melody which pushes onwards to a finale that is equal parts cosmic and emotive.

The companion piece ‘Speed' follows and is an apt barometer of where Ivan's headspace is at, as he lets tight kick drums lay the foundation for gritty percussion and devilish effects to create a darker monochrome. Energies shift and emotion rises as hopeful pads emerge, bringing depth and space to the pyrotechnic framework, before getting washed away in a wave of deconstructed sonics for a heady finale. It's a thrilling conclusion to a fresh two-track showcase, one where Ivan Aliaga makes an impressive Replug debut, and carefully balances rhythm and groove with technique and melody.

Rounding out a strong spring season, Madloch’s Sound Avenue is pleased to welcome La Vue to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Russia, La Vue first emerged in 2019 with a contribution to a Canopy Sounds Various Artists showcase, a release in which he shared billing with beloved organic artists Fulltone, Lisandro and Mule. A creative partnership with Sound Avenue affiliate 3rd Avenue was established shortly thereafter, resulting in a string of superlative releases which further defined his sound, resulting in an aesthetic that was organic, musical and effortlessly cool. Now five years on from his 3rd Avenue debut, and the label has developed into La Vue’s primary home, with the Russian artist appearing on the Belgian imprint a staggering thirty-nine times across five calendar years. Never one to rest on his laurels, La Vue has continued to refine and expound his creative vision into 2025, a rewarding developmental process which now leads to his much-anticipated Sound Avenue debut 'Sortavala', alongside remixes from John Hertz, Dhany G and Matias Herrera & Lucas Gomez (AR).

Riding high as ANTS’ Next Gen 2024 winners, London-based DJ duo FIRZA are in the midst of a breakout twelve months, with a busy 2025 schedule within Europe coupled with recognition of their percussive sound from the likes of Marco Carola and Joseph Capriati. With previous releases on Microhertz, NATURE, and WYLD, to pair now join Jamie Jones’ Hottrax with their three-track EP ‘Erase It’ on 27th June, bringing their dancefloor-ready sound to a label they’ve long admired.

Jamie has been a big inspiration to us from the start, and we’ve been sending him music for years, hoping for this moment. Hottrax has always been a go-to label for our sets, and we’ve played tunes from its catalogue at almost every gig we've done, so to now be part of that legacy is surreal. Title track ‘Erase It’ unfolds through rich, undulating grooves and sub-shaking basslines, layered with crisp tech beats and rolling, low-ends. Following their 2018 collaboration Jano, producers Joe Red & Paul Darey reunite for their slamming debut Retrospective EP on Solardo’s Sola label who have been championing the rising talent.

A two-track weapon, Retrospective EP kicks off with haunting synth lines that proceed into a weighty breakdown spanning the realms of tech house, acid house and techno. Meanwhile, Can You Play To My Beat leans into more uplifting territories boasting grumbling vocals that weave amongst vivacious throttles and soaring lasers. 

Hailing from Mallorca, Joe Red has garnered support world wide whilst shaking the dance floors of renowned venues including Sankeys Ibiza, BCM and many others.
