Mime EP, with its three original mixes, is the first release on Univack by Oliver & Tom @oliverandtom (The Soundgarden, Clubsonica, Balance). This duo is formed by Andrés Martynowicz and Mauricio Inesta, two argentinian producers with a very personal style dened by warm grooves, organic elements, and sweet and glad melodies, combined in a perfect harmony which imprimts beautiful emotions into their songs, allowing the audience to experience different sensations and movements while listening.

This duo’s symbiosis originated in their childhood. Growing up together, they shared diverse musical experiences in rock and pop bands, where Andrés excelled in the electric guitar and Mauricio in the acoustic drums. A few years later, both continued their studies now choosing the piano and synthesizer as their main instruments of production and giving rise to the creation of the electronic music group "Oliver & Tom", who came to stay, creating a musical alternative and a sound of their own that seeks to remain at the highest levels of Progressive House.

This EP is a blend of comedy and slice-of-life fiction, focusing on lighthearted, humorous plot lines centered on romantic ideas, such as how true love is able to surmount most obstacles. The remixers are young, likeable, and seemingly meant for each other. After being kept apart by some complicating circumstance (e.g., class differences, parental interference, a previous girlfriend or boyfriend), they have finally surmounted all obstacles and are reunited in this EP and deliver a fairy-tale-style happy ending.

Mr. Tea - Holding Pattern (Martin Landsky Remix) [VOLL SCHÖN 010]

Dear Deer welcome Sergio Vilas for a new album that finds him experimenting with a new, broader sound that is outside his more commonly recognized techno remit. He does so with the help of a couple of collaborators like Chad Stegall and Lc3 and it makes for a fantastic listen.

Says the artist 'I love all sounds, from Beethoven to Kraftwerk from Detroit to Japan - I think this album shows that I can be diverse and show one of the many sounds I like - it will divide people, but it felt good to write and explore and persist with new sounds, hence the name Persistence.'

The album kicks off with smooth grooves and farsighted chords on 'Persistence' which come with some spine-tingling vocals that really get you to hypnotise. The title track is another superbly subtle melodic house cut that bounces along nicely and Future Melody then offers some more chattery claps and driving house beats.

Bewitched then explores sunset sounds with lush chords draped over the succulent drums and the grooves roll on and on to infinity while Enchantress gets hands in the air with its big chord vamps reaching for the heavens above warm and rubbery drums. After the bristling old school breaks and majestic melodies of Babylon, Bewitched (The Weather All take) slows things right down to a downtempo crawl that is pure bliss and the album closes out with angelic vocals and wide-open spaces on In Motion and the intense synth ambiance that washes over you with beautiful closer Peace.
